VW toys with Duramax Pickup

David VS Goliath:....... Full frame VS Unibody:

The Chevy is larger and heavier, has more HP and TQ. My guess, better weight balance in the Touareg, better tires and a better FWD/AWD system to list a few.

Once again.... It's not the size of the tug that matter's. It's how well it handles the load.

Back in the day my buddy had a wheel hop issue with his 5.0L 69 Mustang. A set of traction bars solved the problem.

At the drag strip: It is interesting to note that with the traction problem solved he still lost a race against a 1.25L Mini Cooper S.

This won't be so fun when the tow strap snaps and the hook goes flying in to the back window!

Eh, I bet my subaru could do that to my pickup, doesn't mean the subaru is going to pull a decent sized trailer.

I agree Jared.

In this case though we know the T-reg is a stellar TV.

The hopping rear end on the truck is an issue (yes lack of traction) probably low tech suspension is to blame.

Note the Pick Up in stock form is 200lbs heavier on the rear when compared to the VW.
