Does anyone tow a boat or ATV behind their Scamp 5th wheel trailer

I do remember a pic someone posted of a double tow with a Scamp and a boat although no details. The biggest problems with doing that is the different states rules for doubles. Here in CA you need a commercial license for starters. I've known a few folks that were legal and did tow doubles in CA but got pulled over a lot for proof. One even had a sign in the back window saying he was legal...Check with your DMV for the rules.

State Laws very. You need to check with your state DMV to keep out of trouble.

also, regardless of legality, the other question is, is the scamp's frame suitable for towing another albeit smaller trailer ? if that 2nd trailer is over 1000 lbs, it too needs brakes, otherwise, its 'braked' by its hitch, meaning it would be pushing on the back of the scamp. you would also need to wire a tow plug on hte back of the scamp, at least a 4 pin for running lights, if not a 7 blade for electric brakes.

and don't even think of trying to back up a double, it simply can't be done.

Would require substantial modification, be illegal in many places, but never say impossible..

Too much sag between tow vehicle and the Casita, I would correct that before I even thought of pulling anything else.
