Which jack? 87 Lil Bigfoot

The front jack has seen better days and has a wheel. What jack should I replace it with? Looks to be a bolt on the side not normal A Frame.

Bulldog seems to be good but so many models...

If the top turning knob has come off; I bolted mine back together, double nutted to keep it in place. I like being able to remove it, makes trailer more secure. It comes off at every camp site, front is put up on wood blocks. I get complements from Boler folks on what a neat idea Bigfoot had.

Question

I reread my post. it appears I remove the knob over and over, not so. I just unbolt the whole jack from its mounting bracket. Does your jack have a bolt with a hand lever that you loosen or tighten, to open a clam shell like clamp that holds the jack. A few turns of the bolt by hand and the jack comes off or, is tightened back in place. I don't know how to post pictures.

ok you didn't replace your jack. I need to find a replacement jack, and can't seem to find one short enough. these campers are really low.

Did you find a Jack?

Hello Steve,

I recently purchased a 94 lil bigfoot and the jack on mine won't let the front of the trailer go low enough to sit level. I need to replace it as well. Did you ever figure something out? I'd love to know if you did.

Thanks,
Ben

Nope, I still carry about 6 or 7 pieces of 2x4 with me that I lay down for the tongue to sit on once I unhook. Sooo if you find a jack, please let me know.

I do still have my original jack that I might have to refurbash and put back on.

Trailerjack

Just got home from UHaul. They have a great selection of parts & replacements. The pole thing that cranks up is bent from falling off the block & the latch that locks the ball in is floppy. Prices are lower than expected. They put the electric brake controller in my Explorer before we went to Missouri to pick up Casita last year. Great service- —give them a try.
Note to self: never play with hitching or unhitching unless trailer is chocked properly!

Princess auto or ToolTown in Canada, Harbor freight in the US,
They have many different sizes and heights, you can pick and choose.
You can also use an equipment type jack, which mounts with a quick pin so it can be swiveled or removed when needed.
