***Wiring up boler quick question***

Hi Guys

Installing a 4 way flat wiring harness for lights on the boler. I don't have side markers so it seems pretty straight forward.

Only question I have is this:

On the passenger side rear lights, There are 3 wires coming through into the trailer and only 2 on the drivers side. Is this where the white ground is to be connected?

I am very confused as to where to attach the ground wire, I've wired in the brake lights/running/turn ones hopefully right, but I have no idea where to put this white ground wire to….any help would be great

A ground wire "pigtail" may have been pulled of the driver's side fixture; or the tail-light manufacturer never installed one.

Let's use this picture as a guide for your driver's side tail light:
  • The Brake/Turn wire connects to the Bright filament of the dual filament bulb. (I'm guessing it's the black wire.)
  • The Running/Tail wire connects to the Dim filament of the dual filament bulb. (I'm guessing it's the red wire.)
  • The Ground wire connects to the metal base of the light; or one of the two brass mounting screws on either side of the wires.
This would be true for both sides.
You need to check if one of the 3 wires on the passenger side fixture is attached to the metal base.

White = Ground (You knew that)
Brown = Dim Filament of BOTH Tail Lights
Yellow = Bright Filament of LEFT Tail Light
Green = Bright Filament of RIGHT Tail Light
