Is anyone attending this rally that is looking to sell a 13' Scamp or similar? Searching for one with bunks, no bath. Thanks!

This is the tentative agenda regarding the upcoming Orange Blossom rally: MAR 28 29 30

1. Right now there are 29 Casita's attending. Per Dale, there is water and electric hookups for 40. after that, the next 10 will be sharing sites. He says there is a maxium of 50. First come, first served. A list of names will be posted later.

2.There will be a "meet and greet" gathering friday evening in the rally hall. Bring your own drinks and snacks that can be shared. The rally hall holds 100 and is available to the group the entire time of the rally. The rally hall has a fireplace, cable television and complete kitchen. The shower and restrooms are located in this facility and are immaculately clean.

3.There will be a potluck dinner saturday evening in the rally hall. Bring a dish for 6-8 people. Remember there are full kitchen facilities in the rally hall.

4. Entertainment for saturday night is still "work in progress" more on this later.

5.The rally area is small. Bring your own tables and chairs. There are tables and chairs in the rally hall.

6. There are computer resources in the main clubhouse only.

7. There will be a flea market saturday morning from 9-11 am in the rally hall. Bring your stuff to sell.

8. Check out everyone's modifications to their Casita from 12-3 pm saturday.

9. Other activities include: fishing, boating in the lake at the campground. Bacci in the grassy areas is ok. There are horseshoe courts and shuffleboard in the main campground. There is also a swimming pool in the main campground.

10. There is a small flea market locally in Umatilla saturday morning. There is also a shopping center directly across the street from the campground.

11. There is a riverboat cruise on the Dora Canal. Dale will have more information on this at the rally hall.

Dale and Kaye will have a list of restaurants and other activities around Umatilla available.

Dog Kennel in Umatilla

This information is for dog owners that wish to attend this rally but own a dog that is restricted due to the “over 40lb” weight limit this park enforces.

I spoke with Lake Land Kennels in Umatilla and they will kennel your dog for $12.00 a day and $6.00 for another that shares the kennel. The owners live on site and were very informative with the questions we asked. They have pick up times on Sunday from 8-9 and 4-5. Hours on Thursday and Friday are 8:30 to 5:00. The phone number is 1-352-669-69.60

Hope this helps with the question “what do I do with my companion that is not welcomed”. Traveling with pets is a personal preference and a difficult decision as well as a costly one if you have to leave them home to attend a rally, this option may help.

We will leave our personal reflections to ourselves regarding restriction such as this and a selection of a retirement park (not a campground) for a rally that is not for ALL….
