I just happened to check the parks website and, lo and behold, site 38 had become available for the Saturday night.

I previously had the site booked for Thursday and Friday but had no place to stay Saturday. Now I don't even have to change sites or hope that site 1 or 2 becomes available.

This will allow me a bit more freedom in my travel schedule.

Looking forward to meeting everyone in June.

To Sharon(who said she had someone but we didn't hear back from her yet), Adonna(who is next to us) and all who might be interested. We are turning in our space this afternoon at 3:30 it will be a first come first serve that way and no one has to figure out how to transfer our reservation.

Hi Linda,

I just spoke to Charlene, and she is interested. I will send a PM. Don't let go of the reservation yet!

Well , Hello,

I am a new Scamp owner and just started reading this forum today. It would be fun to come and camp in Tacoma with youse guys. I saw site 47 open for Friday, but nanoseconds later, it was gone. I will keep looking to see if one opens up. Thanks, Deanna

Hi Deanna,
I hope something opens up for you.
Do you know Chuck & Deb who participate in these cramping gigs? They live in Battle Ground, and I believe they tow a Big Foot.

Cheers,
Sharen

Woo Hoo! Space #47 for Friday night! I am SO pumped! We have done maybe three trips to Long Beach, to stay at Al's brother's. And then one to Silver Lake. We were so green, we didn't know there would be a hole for a campfire! This time, we are bringing sticks, matches and marshmallows! Go scampin' --Go scampin' -- Go scampin'

Um, no, we don't know anyone else with a camper at all, so this is great! Will we be missing the potluck because we're only there Friday night? Dee

Thanks.

I have sent the updated list and map to Donna. She has been doing a wonderful job keeping this updated for us. I looked today and saw site 14 was available. Please look over the list and send any corrections to me. Thanks.
Chris

HEADS UP:
The Trailer Goddess an I have had to cancel (officially, today) our reservations. They are/were for site #18 and we had reserved for June 3 to 9th inclusive. (We had planned to make a short holiday out of this meet)

Unfortunately it looks as if I will be cancelling my reservation for the 4,5,6 of June. Other obligations have come up.

Maybe next year. Site 38 will be open in a few minutes

Is there anything near this place. Google maps has never heard of it, and I get to Hwy 12 but thereafter it's a guessing game. If there's something Google maps can recognize, we'll aim for that and trust there will be signs.
cheers
Ian

Directions

Taidnapam Park is about 110 miles south of Tacoma in Lewis County, near the town of Morton. From Tacoma, take I-5 south to Highway 12 East (Exit 68). Drive east on Highway 12 for approximately 37 miles (5 miles past Morton). Turn right on Kosmos Road, then left onto Champion Haul Road. Drive approximately four miles to the park entrance.
