Hello,
I just found and joined this site recently after perusing much of the useful info. Thanks to the posters!
I'm wondering if there will be a Lil Snoozy or a Scamp 5th wheel camper/owner at this rally. Would love to see either one. I live in the LA area and would drive the 300 miles if there was definitely going to be one of these in attendance. Would also enjoy mingling with folk of course! I currently have a 1990 Toyota Odyssey motorhome...kinda funky...Tiki interior with lots of bamboo thatching and poles, Tiki stuff, leopard skin curtains. :-) Want to change to a trailer.

PS - I'm 6'4" and the issue for me is the 5'10" interior height of the Scamps and Casitas. Lil Snoozy (according to website) is 6'4" interior and Scamp 5th wheel is 6'3".

We had a cancellation for a full-hook-up site. The attendee is having surgery. The full-hook-up sites have been filled for some time. .

The one full-hook-up site and the water & electric sites, that are left to be reserved, are all pull-through.

If someone is coming on a ‘shopping spree’, in other words is ‘trailer-less’. San Lorenzo Park has a nice grassy area, perfect for tents, with water and electric. What else could you possible want? Other than a nice Fiberglass Trailer.

Thanks so much for the reply and listing of the types of trailers that will be there. That was great!
I think I'm going to pass on your rally this year but I know I will make another one. I'm sure it would be a fun time. At this point, I'm only interested in the Scamp 5th wheel or the Lil Snoozy...unless I change my mind.

Tom and I are getting more and more excited about the rally. I've been to several in the past with my Casita, but none since getting married. So glad to see familiar names on the roster! Tom is building a snakes and ladders game (which it sounds like you may already have, but two is better than one!), and this incline-board-beanbag game we played at a BBQ last week--fun! We'll be bringing them. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!

We’re approaching an important deadline. All reservation payments have to reach me no later than Wednesday April 24th.

I have not heard back, from San Lorenzo Park, making additional full-hook-up sites available to us. But, we have 8 water & electric sites left for reservations, the sites are pull-through sites.

We had another cancellation for a, four day (arriving Thu leaving Mon), full-hook-up site. The full-hook-up sites have been filled since January. We also have several water & electric sites left to be reserved. All open sites are pull-through.

Dutch Oven Workshop

Only 2 weeks to go before we all meet at San Lorenzo Park. It’s time to sign up for the Dutch Oven Workshop, which will be led by Master Dutch Oven Chef Lori Sanders, again. The Dutch Oven Workshop will be held on Saturday, May 4th in front of the Portola Building. The set up time will be approximately 2pm.

At this time, we need to know who will participate, your Dutch Oven size and what you’re planning on cooking. If someone needs a recipe, please e-mail me and I will be glad to make some suggestions and follow-up with a recipe.

I also will need some help with ‘Dutch Oven Pizza Thursday’. The pizza dough, cheese, meat and vegetable will be provided by the rally. I will need assistance to prepare the Pizzas. Last year, I made my special pizza sauce and will again this year. Please let me know if you want to help put the Pizza together. I will need ‘lots’ of additional Dutch Ovens. Let me know if we can use one of your Dutch Ovens and what size it is.

Since we all enjoy the Pot Luck Dinners, it would be good if we all helped in some way, to put the dinners together. I understand, not everyone likes to cook. Volunteering to prepare a salad, preparing tables with table cloths etc, putting some cookies on a plate or simply helping with clean up, just takes a little time. This allows for all the campers to sit down together around the campfire and enjoy each other’s company.

We still have seven water & electric sites, plus one full-hook-up site (a recent cancellation) open. Please private message or e-mail me your recipe, including cooking times, to @ Marianne.dinsmore @ gmail .com (remove spaces).

Hi Liz

Sorry, the Park does not have WiFi. But, I have an iPhone and a datacard for my laptop and both have no problems receiving signals. There are several cell towers near San Lorenzo Park.
