Oh, that's a different story, been there, done that. You know what they say, a GJ can indict a piece of bologna. You listen to testimony over a period of time and you vote.

Sorry to hear that Brian. While I really don't want to jinx myself, I bet it's been more than 15 years since I got such a dreaded letter.

Was hoping to see your ParkLiner. We'll see what happens.

Best of luck to ya!

Sorry to hear that Brian! But maybe it will work out and you can join us after all. We'll keep a spot warm for you just in case.

Whoever is counting eggs, just want you to know that I have decided to join the gang at Copake. Cant miss the opportunity since you are so close to home. The woman at the desk counted 11 for the group as of today.

This will be my first "egg rally". Looking forward to a new experience. Also will have the chance to see other fiberglass rigs. Should be fun.

Actually our first "egg rally" also. But we've done quite a few teardrop rallys, and some vintage trailer rallys. TCT rally last weekend, a vintage rally this coming weekend, and then Copake the next weekend. We'll get the award for the shortest distance traveled. Got your route planned yet Bernie, probably I87 down to Rt 7 toward Troy, 787 south, then on I 90 to the Thruway [still 90] and off on to rt 22 and head south. Don't get off the Thruway at the Taconic Parkway, no trailers allowed on it. Not sure where to turn off 22. I heard GPS directions weren't too good. Better look at the website for directions. I'm not sure exactly where the campground is, haven't been down that way in some time, nothing there but some cows & horses.

Welcome Bernie! We have counted you in!! Bob's directions are pretty much the way we went from Troy when we checked the place out in the spring. You turn off 22 onto 7a just a short way after the state park. It's a lovely campground, but definitely out in the boonies!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, yes I have the route from Saratoga down the I-90 NY-22 to Copake. The Camp gave the directions. I will be coming alone, so my local deli will have to prepare my contribution to the potluck.

OK folks - I have just confirmed with the CG that we have 12 eggs registered for the weekend. We also have use of the pavilion for the weekend, but there is an inside room available as well, if the weather is too cold or wet.

Here is the schedule:

Friday night 7pm, campfire at the pavilion. If any of you are musicians and care to bring your instruments, I'm sure my husband could be convinced to jam.

Saturday morning 10am - Meet and Greet in the "back room" inside the main building. There will be coffee and pastries.

Saturday afternoon 3pm - Egg Tour - Anyone who cares to open their camper for all to see will have the opportunity to show off their modifications. It's always fun to see what others have done with their eggs.

Saturday evening 5pm - Pot luck dinner. We will either be in the pavilion or the back room depending on the weather. We'll decide on Friday so everyone will know.

Saturday evening - the CG is having a Vegas Night which we are welcome to attend, or we can do another campfire. We'll leave it open to suggestions.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone!

Any time that we are at our camper it is open for inspection, don't hesitate to ask. We learned this practice at the many teardrop rallys we have attended, and have also learned to make the bed as soon as we get out of it.

Sounds like a great weekend! My husband Matt and I have never been to an egg rally before! Just back from Michigan where we saw a Casita and a few Scamps (including a 5th wheel) we were so excited! We rarely see eggs around the north east. It will be amazing to be surrounded by other like minded people and their eggs! See you all in a few days!!

I am also planning to attend on Saturday. I do not have a trailer (yet) so I am looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing your eggs. My friend and I should arrive after lunch. After that, we are headed to Bennington, VT for a few days of vacation.

See you Saturday.

Rosemary - we are happy to welcome you and your friend. We'll let the ladies at the office know that we are expecting you.

Bob - we hope to get an early start on Friday, but we aren't able to leave on Thursday.

Gail & I expect to be there by 3 for the egg tour, and I believe we will stay for the pot luck. We'll bring something for the pot luck, I just don't know what yet!

Thanks all!
