Jon and Bob, keep our sites warm for us! We should be there well before 2 on Friday. Hopefully off-season, they won't be too strict about check in.

Mary and Bob looking forward to seening you and checking out your U-Haul. Wonder if it is as tricky to back up as my Scamp. But what am I saying you guys must be pros maneuvering your egg by now. Drive safely.

Actually they did seem strict about check in time. Mary called there today to see when we could get in. Answer was after 2 or there is an early arrival fee. Don't make sense for them to be that fussy this time of year!!

Bernie
I learned backing up with 4 wheel hay wagons, and with a CDL license for the last 40 years I can get the trailer in to where I want it. But admittedly a short trailer can be harder to back than a long one. Follow the GOAL rule, Get Out And Look. There's quite a hill on route 22 below Austerlitz, after a sharp right, then winding up to the left, up hill for a ways, then long down hill with a right turn at the bottom. Be careful on it! Route 22 has a reputation for being a rough road. We haven't been on it heading south of route 203 for some time, so don't know the current conditions, but it's generally not a nice road.

I'm so excited to join you! I'll be driving my Scamp 16 up with my Prius. We're booked in site 98.

What should we bring for the potluck, to balance things out?

Is there any particular type of food needed for the potluck, entrée, salad, desert, other? Whatever it is, ours will be vegetarian. Our first rally as well. Looking forward to it!

A change of plans make this rally a possibility for us? Any room left in the rally area?

I'm going to guess 25 - 28 for the pot luck. We have a few guests coming to see the campers who may or may not stay for dinner.
