Sorry Cam didn't win. Please come back and join us next year. And bring Connor the Dog. Safe trip home.

It was the cookies and candy, but that's OK. Mary and Bob get the prize for being #1 for the egg tour. They are great sports and we thank them for that!

Thanks to your husband AND Ken for the music by the campfire as well as Nancy and Brian's harmonizing which was a pleasant surprise. I would also like to put out there a "Thank You" to Cathy and Ted for the authentic "pioneer cooking quiches and roasted veggies" and the great bonfire! Oh, and the light show was a unique touch, fireflies all around! We met lots of friendly people and can't wait to meet up with them in the future at places far and near!

Thanks to all who got the rally together and made it work, and to the rest of you for letting us join in Saturday with no trailer.

We sure enjoyed looking at all the eggs while we try and decide which way to go. New? Used? Hmmm. Want a big bed? Yup. Hmmm. Don't need a big egg, but want a big bed. Need to sell my GMC, then we'll get serious!

Just recovering today from that pot luck...

Thanks for organizing a fun and informative event. Even though everything didn't go as you had expected, you made it work seamlessly. We look forward to getting the group together somewhere down the road.
Getting to see so many FGRVs was great. All of the tips from Mary and Bob will come in handy in our travels.
Thanks to all who participated,
Rosemary, David, and Harley

Local hillbillies saw the cookies and ate most of them before any of our group could get some. Then they tagged along on the tour to see if there were goodies to eat at the other trailers. However they were impressed with all our eggs, then went back to their stickies to drink more moonshine.

That would explain the geezer who kept trying to open my refrigerator.

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me and my friend, Pat, for a tour of all of your trailers on Saturday afternoon. There is nothing like seeing and exploring a trailer in person when considering a future purchase. We had a great time meeting everyone. I appreciate your answering my questions, sharing your experiences and being just so friendly to boot. I hope to meet up with all of you again some time in the future, once I finally get to hit the road in my (future) RV.

Sue,
Looks like another fantastic rally, I love the campground, boy can I pick em and never show up, this is the second time you bailed me out, I owe you big. I promise, next year I'll be there with bells on. The Escape is hatching in less than 45 days...

Oh you and Gail fit in just fine, Frank. All you need now is an egg! Seriously, so glad you could join us. Tell Gail I will see her at the cutting counter!

You missed a great time Jim! The campground was lovely. There were a few glitches. That meet and great with local pastries never happened. The CG owner didn't provide anything. Luckily we had a flexible group and we did our own on the fly thanks to people donating refreshments. Then we were evicted from the large, close pavilion, and stuck back in the woods in a tiny pavilion that we barely fit in. It worked out great though, as we were a bit rowdy and may or may not have had pyrotechnics and illegal firewood. I tried to tell people that you really do exist, but I'm not sure they believed me!

Thanks Sue, you're the best. And don't be surprised if you see both of us at the cutting counter!

Sue, these are the same campground owners who told me when I called months ago if we were just coming in for the afternoon to look at eggs, we wouldn't be charged. Somehow that slipped their minds... No big deal, I certainly did not mind paying, it's just the old bait & switch thing that gets me!

Take care and have a great day!
