Last minute reprieve, we're baaaaack!

Jury selection went as predicted, they got me. Fortunately, I don't start for a couple of weeks so we're back on for the rally. We're booked in to site 97 which is back to back with the original site we booked. Nancy and I will be there on Friday PM around check in time and plan on bringing a large chef salad (at least our variation on that theme) for the pot luck. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

For those arriving Thursday, stop by for dessert. My apple tree made far too many apples, so I had to make an apple pie. Will still be making a blueberry pie for the pot luck.

I count 4 fiberglass trailers already here. I headed out to Bash Bish Falls for some photographs.

We had the most amazing time! Met wonderful like minded people, made good friends, enjoyed the tour of the similar yet so different eggs and loved the potluck dinner and super cool campfire after. Would love to do it again next year! Huge thank you to Sue and Ed again for organizing a special memorable weekend!

Home and dry @ 2:45PM. 300 miles six hours much better time on Sunday without commuters and slowdowns on the Blue Route and the Northeast Ext. after Allentown. Great rally; great weather; fun to meet the the NY gang. Thanx Sue.

I made it back to Oswego by 3:30. Thanks to all that participated and special thanks to Sue & Ed for putting it together. For those that missed the previous post, lots of photos of the rally starting at Copake Fiberglass Rally, Day 1.

Safely home by about 2:15. Gear dried out and stored for the next outing. What a great weekend. Finally able to put faces to names and meet new FG fans. Kudos to Sue and Ed for leaping into the breach and pulling the rally together. (Aside to Jim, aka CPAHarley2008, you should have come up and rented a cabin, you would have had a great time!) Hopefully, we will all be able to get together again next year and do it again. (And see Jim's new Escape 21)

This was our very first rally and we had a great time! Thanks Sue, you did a great job planning everything and taking care of business...hosting the breakfast "Meet and Greet" was a lot of fun at your campsite. Thanks to your husband AND Ken for the music by the campfire as well as Nancy and Brian's harmonizing which was a pleasant surprise. I would also like to put out there a "Thank You" to Cathy and Ted for the authentic "pioneer cooking quiches and roasted veggies" and the great bonfire! Oh, and the light show was a unique touch, fireflies all around! We met lots of friendly people and can't wait to meet up with them in the future at places far and near!

What an excellent rally! Great people, food and fun. Thank you Sue for all of your work in organizing things. Did Bob and Marys Egg get the Blue Ribbon? I seemed to be the most popular. Thanks Jack for the taxi service. My tip is in the mail.

Cam and I had a great time meeting everyone. Thanks to Sue for organizing everything so well. Thanks to Jon for answering all our questions. We are camping at the Casino on the way home, but Cam didn't win tonight so the only additional wealth we are leaving the USA with is meeting so many nice people. Safe camping.

What a great weekend! I had no idea that there were so many eggs in and around upstate NY! Thanks all for going with the flow when things didn't work out quite as planned.. The open house was awesome and I'm so glad that we were able to see so many different eggs. The pot luck was wonderful and the campfire after so much fun. Thanks to all for making it special. It's always great to make new friends. I hope to see you all at one or more rallys next year. Keep in touch. Stay on the forum, and lets try to make the Great Northeast a destination for Fiberglass RVs!

PS - Jim you missed a fantastic weekend. There was a kabin calling your name.
