What is the deposit when making reservations? We'll probably come, but have to see what the school schedule is like. I'd like to come on Friday night, the wife's work is on the way so we could be there by 6 pm or so. It'd be a long drive for only one night.

Kevin,
You give them one nights deposit $48 via cc and in the event you need to change or cancel do it before 48 hours before those dates and it will only cost you $10 to cancel or -0- to change to another date.

How did this location get picked? It's about 40 minutes from us, but we've never seen this campground. Mostly farm country in the area.

So true Jim!

Mary & Bob - We aren't much farther away than you (we live in Troy). We weren't aware of it either. We took a ride down a few weeks ago to scope it out, and it's a lovely CG. But it is really out in the boonies! Not someplace we would have passed on the way to someplace else.

One point of interest in the area is Bash Bish Falls, it's a little hike into the falls, but interesting. There is a rail trail bike path in that area also. One road in that area got a Highway Beauty award many years ago. We haven't been in the Copake area in a long time so not sure of any other attractions. We'll go check out the campground next week, camping in the Adirondaks right now and it's raining.

We booked 110, we didn't want to be all the way out on the far corner in 103 which was the next unbooked site available.

I have sold my Escape 19' in preparation of purchasing a new Escape 21' in the fall. However it will not be shipped until December. I was not contemplating any of this until I found out that Escape was offering special pricing for the first 10 customers. This leaves me trailer less for awhile during which this rally is supposed to take place. This happened before when I sold my Eggcamper 2 years ago and Sue was kind enough to take over then and was rally master.
I do not wish to have this happen to her nor inconvenience all you good people as a result of my last minute decision to trade up Escapes.
Kevin, Mary/Bob,Jon,Brian,Sue, David- I'm going to contact KOA and pay for Friday nights rv spot rental or one of your nights camping. This is the least I can do so as to lessen the impact of my not showing. I'm also hoping we can all meet again in the springtime of next year when I will have my new Escape 21' at the same place.
Please forgive me, Sue but I feel this is the best I can do right now.

We failed to post earlier that we have site 113. Nice offer Jim, but not necessary, we'll catch up with you eventually.

Jim,

No need for you to pay for our reservation. We appreciate you're having organized the rally and look forward to meeting you in the future.
We have a confirmation number, but I don't know the site number.
Good luck with your trailer transactions,

David

When we made our reservation it sounded like they would assign the actual site on our arrival, no site number was on our confirmation.
