Hi
We have just booked site 66 for the 6,7 and 8th. We have a 74 Boler and can't wait to join your fun. We are coming in from Niagara Falls Ontario.
When you get your plans in order can you post more details so we come prepared.
Also, we have the rest of the week off and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for another state park in Michigan. We really like trees....not open field type camping. Thanks for any info you can send our way. See you in September!

Hi Mike
Probably not this year. We plan to stay in the Michigan area or western Ontario after the meet at Algonac Park, but we will be at Bolerama in July at Long Beach Conservation Area.

Where is John Warren?
Does anyone know if he made his reservation yet?
I haven't seen any posts from him lately. I hope all is OK.
He is of course our Grand Marshall, as he was the one that got this event started last year...................

Hi Guys, Post pictures of last year if you have them. We are checking our schedule and may try to attend. We have never camped in this part of the state. But we are only about 2 or so hrs away. I assume its right on the river by the name. boating?

Do you expect to have any older trailers (mine is a 1978) that have been repaired or modernized that I could get ideas from? Thanks Fred
Fred, You aren't far from me, I'm in Fenton just up 23 from you There will be a nice selection of campers at the park, and a lot of ideas! I'll pencil you onto the list, just let me know what site you choose!

September will be here before you know it! As people make reservations at the campground, be sure to post here and I'll add you to the list of attendees.

We had over 20 campers last year, so I hope we can do that well again. Fun weekend!

I Haul, You Haul, we all haul UHauls!

Last year was fairly casual and non-planned, with a Pot-Luck on Saturday. Everyone chipped in money towards the meat, and then brought a passing dish.
Scouter Dave attended and did a wonderful demonstration of how to make survival bracelets. (if anyone has any skills that they would like to share??)
Our Campers were 'open for tours' on Saturday afternoon.
Plans are still formulating for this year. All ideas are welcome!
Armel is on site 120 with a scale for us to weigh our camper tongues.
We can do the same dinner plan for this year if everyone feels ok with that.
I have to admit that my job just kills my energy (50hrs a week) and I'm very happy just watching the ships cruise by on the river and visit with camper friends. But if anyone has an idea for additional fun games? music? (guitar players out there?)
Another thing that I've seen are 'table sales' at the campsites where people bring camping stuff to sell and trade.
I'll keep adding attendees as they notify me of their sites. Ben Uhaulin, I've got you down on site 50 now.
Again, all ideas are welcome, and my brain can use the assist

Yes, I remember you and your cute teardrop! I won't be at the Ontario rally hopefully some other time. I think that you went to dinner and camping world with my friend Martiy who has the cute flowered Scamp. Most definitely will love to see you if you can make Algonac this year
