Haven't done much to ours yet either. But we bought this one (1981 Casita, which was when Casitas were ALSO made in Backus, MN, and were nearly EXACT copies of Scamp) last August as a trial camper to see how much we use it and to see how we like it. If it works out as well as we hope, then we think we'll upgrade to a nicer/newer egg in a couple years. So we have some customization ideas, but I'd love to start seeing what others have done, and see what does/doesn't work, etc. In the meantime, I'm getting to also see/learn what's important to look at on the next one, and see what I really want/need. (Maybe we DON'T want/need the furnace/heater, I'll look more closely at the spare tire, etc) I'm also learning my way around the thing, and I'll be doing some repairs on this one (Had a crack in the shell), so I'm hoping it will actually be worth the same or more when I go to sell it.

So really just looking forward to seeing newer ones, stock, modified, other brands, etc. And will be awesome just to meet a bunch of other people that love FGRVs!

Anyone else coming up from the Milwaukee area?

I'm in az. Right now but will fill out information when I get home 1st of feb.

the squirrels had fluffy tails this fall, the wooly-bear catapillars were very wooly, the deer were madly munching acorns so I decided to go south for 6 weeks. Imo. In missouri.

Oh yeah, the persimmon seeds had more spoon shapes than knives or forks...an ozark indicator of a hard and very cold winter...and tonite in cabool it is to drop to 5 with minus temps for sun and mon nite...not as cold as wisc. Or minn. But cold for ozarks.

I filled out the "attendees form" and submitted. There's a typo. My arrival date says June 16 but should be June 12. Can that be corrected? Thanks.

The way it is going this year, some snowbanks may linger unmelted in May ... but by June, nah. Lol.

Right you are Jim, thanks for pointing it out so it can be fixed. We obviously copied the old template. Will fix soon. Tony

We have about 40 units signed up, so the campground owners (Deb and Mike) have agreed to open up some tent sites in the involved loop. No water but electric if you provide a long cord. Although I suppose you could pull your battery for the day and charge it at an electric site. That may be tedious though. Only $22.00 for these
Otherwise they will "make it work" for those who would like to have the services. There are more sites available, "the more the merrier."
Sorry for the misattribution Gary, see you and Dorothy in June.
Tony
