Mosquito beater works

If you see one of those badminton type bug swatters buy one. they work. Mosquitoes are here at the campground.

Road construction

It looks like Nancy is correct, folks coming on Hwy 29 should go south on Hwy 41 and take Hwy 172 east to I-43 north. I've asked several people and get mixed opinions, but the majority say Hwy 41 south. Pay attention to the signage.
Mosquitos plentiful but vary from awful to very few depending on who knows what. Not as bad as I feared.
Weather looks pretty good, maybe a T-storm on Thursday.
See you soon, Tony and Darlene

The truck and 16" Casita SD are cleaned up and ready to load. Jonell, and I and Iz A Dog will be leaving 6:00am on Wednesday to avoid the terrible Minneapolis/St Paul traffic. The rest of you have a safe trip and we'll see you there.

Been wondering how the trailer tours will work? How does an owner talk to others about their own trailer AND go look at different trailers? Will the tours be roaming groups, or everyone for themselves?

Nate,

People are given a pink ribbon to put on their trailer if they are willing to have people come in and look around. Check the schedule for trailer tours. We usually tidy up for tours, but many of us will show during non trailer tour hours too. Ours is just an awful mess normally.

I should ask this here before I forget: Anyone interested in a 1981ish Instamatic Model IM-2 12/120V/Propane Fridge? It appears to work just fine, but we'll be removing from our Casita this year. Easy thing would be to sell it to someone at the gathering and remove it right there!

Nate, My iPad only works when I take it to the office. When you check in with Tony tell them about the refrigerator. He might have a way to let folks know. You can also announce at evening gathering to spread the word.

Sorry that I needed to head out early from the Rally. I made it home safe and sound.

One quick note... I wanted to send out a great big THANK YOU to Tony and Darlene for hosting this event!

I had a wonderful time and I truly hope this is a location we consider again in the future!

First timer

Wow! 55+ trailers. 100+ fun folks. Loved seeing all the decor and mods. Lots of good ideas added to my project list. Plus good food and great music. I see why folks love these rallies. Thanks Tony and Darlene for all your efforts.

Nancy, Snow, BooBoo and I all had a great time at the rally. It was great fun to see the people we met at Mille Lacs again and to meet new friends.

A special thanks goes out to Tony and Darlene for hosting the event.

Sure is quiet here at the campground. Got a short rain awhile ago...watched the storm moving in while in Egg Harbor eating gelato. Wonderful folks, visits, food, music and socializing with all of you. This will not be our last northern rally!

Tony and Darlene, really fantastic job...you deserve a vacation.
Tomorrow, off to find rt. 2 going in to minn..

Thank you!!!!!

Tony & Darlene

Cindy and I had a wonderful time at our very 1st Egg Outing. The group is really fantastic and we are looking forward to attending future events.

The planning, coordination, and all of the activities were fantastic. Music at night, breakfast in the morning...it was really nice.

Taylor Falls is next on our list.
