I just checked today Oct 19, and in the new section, all sites are available except the one we reserved.

You're going to have heavy competition with the Escape Rally since it's the same weekend. Seems like the Escape owners I know that live in OR/WA are heading north for that one.

I didn't know about the Casita Rally. That is the historical weekend for this event. Maybe we will have to change dates if we have a conflict.

Roger, a new Escape 5er. It's the new build, tandem axle and 8 inches wider than the original build. Floor plan is based on the new 21' Escape too.

I guess some will go to Canada, and other to Tiadnapam. Everybody can choose whichever they want. Tiadnapam is such a great CG, I choose to go to Tiadnapam. (Besides, I haven't renewed my Passport.)

The rally that conflicts with Taidnapam is the Escape not the Casita rally.

Well, at any rate, no matter which rally you are attending, don't smoke in your car if you are bringing children along in California, Oregon, or British Columbia.

Reservations begin January 2, 2014 for:

· ·Group camps at Mossyrock Park
· ·Day-use kitchen shelters at Mayfield Lake and Mossyrock parks

You can also reserve by calling 1-888-226-7688. Mail-in reservation requests will no longer be accepted.

Reservations for 2015 will be available 9 months in advance. On July 15, 2014, you will be able to reserve for April 15, 2015.

Mayfield Lake Park's kitchen shelter

New online reservations for Mayfield Lake Park and Mossyrock Park

• Reserve Mayfield Lake Park day-use kitchen shelter - beginning Jan. 2
• Reserve Mossyrock Park day-use kitchen shelter - beginning Jan. 2

Reserve the Taidnapam Park day-use kitchen shelter
For the Taidnapam Park kitchen shelter:

• Download and complete the reservation request form after Jan. 1 for that year’s reservations.
• Or pick up a form at Tacoma Public Utilities
  Sorry, we aren't able to accept applications or payments at this location
• Mail in or drop off the form and the $50 deposit at Taidapam Park.

To give everyone a fair chance at a reservation:

• Dropped-off applications are treated as mail.
• Multiple applications received on the same business day are randomly drawn.

Confirmations

• You will receive a confirmation by mail if the shelter is available for the date you requested.
• We will return your form and deposit if the kitchen shelter is already booked.

Cancellations
Contact Taidnapam Park to cancel your reservation. Cancellation fees:

• More than 14 days before your reservation date - $10
• 14 or fewer days before your reservation date - $50 deposit

When can you reserve?
You may reserve our kitchen shelters for dates between April 15 and Oct. 15.

Other things to know

• Day-use parking costs $5 on weekends and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
• We don't allow alcoholic beverages in our kitchen shelters or day-use areas.
• Our kitchen shelters may not to be used for fund-raising or for-profit events.
• Only barbecue briquettes are allowed in the kitchen shelter barbecues.
• The day-use parking area at Mayfield Lake Park fills up quickly on sunny summer days. You may have to find parking outside of the park. We recommend that your group carpools and arrives early.

The list is looking a little thin this year folks......time to think about getting signed up for this Washington gathering! I don't think anyone who has attended in the past has come away disappointed. Don't wait until the last minute because this is free fishing weekend and the sites may fill up fast. Looking forward to it!
