Yes it is the going rate. I paid $126 last August for three nights so I could attend this gathering.

OK, I see that it is the going rate.
Felix, I have sent you a PM response.
Many thanks. Yes, we are interested but I want to be sure that site #46 is re-assignable. So, HOW do we do this?

OKEY DOKEY MARYHILL CRAMPERS!
Sharen & Simon successfully ARE BOOKED (thank you "Felix") for site #46, across from Kathie & Dave ~ Whoopee ~ arriving THURSDAY, MAY 15th (managed to snag that site from WA State) and departing Sunday, May 18th. This will be our first visit to this state park. Simon is a longtime wind surfer... but may sit this one out and just watch. We'll see. (His knee is still mending.)

So, Paul, you can amend your list once again and put us in site #46.
Again, thanks to Felix for offering us his site.

See you all VERy SOON.
Cheers and Happy Trails,
Sharen & Simon

Well, DANG IT!
I spoke too soon.

As it turns out, I've had to CANCEL our Maryhill reservation. This is due to something we did not anticipate: Simon was offered a very compelling freelance job that ties him up from Monday thru Friday next week. It's for Disneyland's office in Seattle, and taking this job almost assures him of more work from them in the future. Not taking this particular job would guarantee no more calls from them. So, you likely can understand why he wants to take it.

And as luck would have it, the offer came a day after I'd nailed down the Maryhill reservation with "Felix"!

I have sent Felix a PM letting him know, because I sent him a check. The site was re-assigned to me, but payment is still via his account. ArghhhH!

I totally support Simon's decision on this, however... and we'll lose a few bucks, but compared to the $$$ he stands to earn, well, it's a no-brainer, isn't it?!

Have fun and we'll see you at the FALL NOG, if not sooner.
Sharen & Simon

Sorry Felix and Sharen/Simon won't be able to make it...
Early forecast looks encouraging - wind might even die down on Saturday.

Picked mine up at Camping World. Not exactly sure if I'll need it with my set up, but I'll be prepared. Can also come in handy if I run across any campgrounds that only use these.

Love the forecast, hope it stays steady. Looking forward to the adventure.

Maryhill SP May 16-17-18, 2014

If you are coming to Maryhill SP this weekend and need a sewer donut I will have some with me. They will be $5.00. The State Park requires a donut for your sewer hose.

OK - Last note - before Maryhill in May 2014
We’ll be arriving Thursday afternoon. Please stop by site 50 when you get in to say ‘hi’.
If you have room, please consider bringing a folding table to help with the potluck.

Norma and Paul will host a campfire Friday evening at site 50. Bring your hot dogs & buns and a chair for dinner around 6:00 or bring your dinner and join us. There will be potato chips and condiments to go with the hot dogs.
Craft Beer Exchange - 7pm Friday
Bring a six pack of craft beer from your area brewers if you would like to participate. Trade one bottle/can for a different bottle/can.

Saturday evening at 6:00 will be a potluck dinner at site 50. Bring your favorite dish, silverware/plate and a chair.

There will be a ladder ball game available all weekend if anyone is interested in playing.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Maryhill !

Here is the roster & weather forecast:

While you're there

I'm sure y'all are familiar with the Memorial for that local area's WWI dead up on the hill above Maryhill Park. But for those of you that are early risers:
Seeing "Stonehenge" (replica) at sunrise is quite an experience. Just for a few minutes, the lonesome grey stone turns pink where the first light of sunrise hits it. These pics don't really do it justice, but do capture a bit of what I mean.
