We may be down in Moab or nearby that weekend and if so, is it alright if we stop in to say "hi" to everyone? Do you think you'll do any group activities (dutch oven, knot-tying, pot luck, hike, and so on)? That might be a fun time for us to visit if we make it.

A Utah Rally! Woo hoo!!

Hello to ALL,
The Rally in Moab is getting closer. If there is anyone attending or someone that may "just be stopping by" that has a special talent or who would like to make a presentation to the group, or lead a hike, please send me a PM. We are trying to put together options for people to do. Jack had some good ideas, but I'm sure you creative people might have some others.
Thanks,
Patti

There are some great offroading areas that are easy. Not sure what other people have for tow vehicles. But my little family is going into arches and do some easy hiking.

Gina, you are right, there are some cool offroading areas. Two come to mind, Gemini Bridges and over in the Sand Flats area.
As for Arches, I'm going too, haven't been there for at least five years since I moved from AZ to Colorado.
I hope we can get a group together to do that.

Wonder if it would be of interest to have each attendee do a 15 minute presentation on one modification they made to their trailer. Everyone could gather at the trailer. You could solicit the name of the mod, make a list and create a schedule... then folks could show up if it was of interest. Just a thought....

That's a very good idea Fran, one of the things discussed is trailer tours so this fits right in.
I will get more info out this week about some options for the Rally.
Thanks,
Patti

Hi Steve and Rosemary,
Please stop by....our group potluck dinner is Friday nite and we will have at least 2 group hikes. I can send you the agenda if you will PM me with your personal email address. Can't attach the agenda here due to document size limitations.

Hi JR, I just set my email to Patti so hopefully that will work! I'd like to grab that last spot but at this point, we can't entirely commit to making the trip. Still, we're going to try and look forward to meeting everyone!

A week away and I still don't know what to bring for the Potluck on Friday. We can't make it up on Thursday so we will be pulling up on Friday. We will be there for the potluck. Is there still the 15 minute presentation on mods still going on? If so I want to sign up for a spot. can't wait to meet you all. I am already apologizing ahead of time if my baby (9months) keeps someone up. But I don't think he will.

Gina, not to worry, this is camping for R&R. What ever you bring will be fine. Yes we will do the trailer tour and take as little or as much time as each person wants within reason. Don't worry about the baby--at least not drunks with loud music--we can handle it.
Looks like the axle issue is under control.

Patti-
My wife Leslie makes a mean chili. Not too spicy and it does have meat in it, but it's delicious. Would that be appropriate to bring? If you think something else would be better, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alan & Leslie Ardizone

YUM! Your making me hungry. I'm making a fresh pasta dish for the potluck and bringing lots of sausages for the breakfast potluck.
I'm looking forward to MEETING YOU IN MOAB.
