Of course I called Reserve America first, otherwise I would not have been able to add Chris & Maureen to my site. I know the 'drill' quite well.
It's great that you give out this info as a nice yearly reminder, especially for folks new to the quirky ways of the Reserve America system.

I put this out on Facebook in the Oregon Gatherings group but since everyone is not in that group yet, I'll post it here, too.

There will be a potluck lunch on Friday at site B6. We are making grilled cheese and grilled ham & cheese sandwiches. If you want to come, let us know and just bring a soup, salad, or dessert to share. We'd love for you to come.

Let me know (by email - click on my name below) as we are trying to plan for sandwich supplies.

Through a COMEDY OF INDESCRIBABLY STUPID ERRORS, Simon and I find ourselves WITHOUT A SITE for the coming NOG at the beautiful SILVERFALLS.

So we beg anyone who is about to cancel, PLEASE DON'T CANCEL. Please contact us first and we shall take your site and compensate you the cost.

There is a simple protocol for this. YOU keep your reservation, but just call the reservation desk and ask them to add MY NAME - SHAREN HEATH - on the USER line. Then you let me know your address and the cost, and I shall mail you a check straightaway.

We'd be VERY GRATEFUL if you let us know if you can't be there.

Hi - just getting home (Olympia WA) with our new to us Scamp 16. Have been reading the forum for a while and learning a lot!!!!
Last week on a whim checked for openings at Silver Falls, and we will be there Saturday night! (B 20) Very excited to meet others and hope arriving with many questions and curiosities is ok. :-) Also some yummy Almond Shortbread....

The updated map is posted on Casita Forum. There's a link in Donna's first post. She is already at Silver Falls - left early yesterday and is offline now (on vacation ). There were a few last minute changes but everything is good. Weather and the park are beautiful!

Thank you everyone for your kind hospitality! It was fun to see/tour the different trailers. Thanks for all the great trailer storage space ideas! I have changed my mind about a few things; 13" is cute/16 is comfy, Scamp is not the only trailer I like, refurbished trailers can look like new ones that just rolled out of the plant, and the Bigfoot trailers are truly much bigger (due to their footprint+).People were friendly and gave us a ton of info about buying used. I loved hearing about things you did/not like about your different units. It was nice to meet and spend time with the group. Silverfalls is a beautiful park, we want to come back some time. Thank you, Nancy for inviting us!

I'm HOME. Oh my stars what a fabulous time. Good people, good food, good weather, wonderful trailers and a beautiful Oregon State Park. What wasn't to like?!

THANKS to a number of folks for help... like getting me into my 90 degree over-the-right shoulder site, tables, E-Z ups (which we didn't need to use!), cutting wood, bringing wood, donations for the raffle and on and on. Even though this is a Not Organized Gathering, it's never successful without folks stepping up and helping where it's needed. THANK YOU.

I made a ton of memories and am grateful to all of you for making THAT happen.
