Hello,

I just spent quite a while on the phone with Terrie at Happy Holiday.
The total number registered at this time is 29 Rigs.
That is great news and will certainly keep Lynne busy with supplies, eating arrangements and such.

There is a problem!
We, Lynne and I, only have information for 16 rigs. So there are 13 more that have not let us know anything.

Please believe it is important that we have accurate counts. Those additional 13 trailers can account for 13-30 people. Many of those folks signed up when they departed Cherokee 2013. So we know you enjoyed yourself. We had a very accurate count in 2013 which enabled us to provide for everyone and help you to want to return.

I had a number of people ask me in 2013 if somebody was there and what site they were on. I had the first names, site number and the date of their arrival which was helpful.

Something else that many aren't aware of is eating arrangements. Normally there are few if any tables on the Rec House porch. We had way more folks eating than the inside would accommodate, so HH had to scrounge up tables from camp sites to provide seating for everyone. We had enough name tags for everyone because we knew who was coming.

So please help us with this. If you are on one of the below site numbers, Or know who is, Please notify Lynne or Me so we can keep our list accurate.

Thanks,
Kip

Thanks Duke and Beverlee,
Got you on the list and looking forward to meeting you two.

As far as we know right now, there are 3 Escapes registered. Sites 86, 90 and 923. "And that's a good thing"!

Diversity

So good to see the diversity of "Eggs" registering for the Cherokee 2014 rally.

As stated in another post, these rallies are open to all brands of Fiberglass campers.

So far, we have the roomier 5th wheel Escapes and Scamps, 19'ers, a bunch of 16'-17', and the ever popular 13'ers registered. .

Alphabetically:
There are Burro, Casita, Escape, Lil' Snoozy, Scamp, and U-Haul that we know of. Hopefully there will be other brands joining us. Last year there was a bright yellow model that was really neat and really old, and really nicely restored. Can't remember what brand it was, but it added a nice touch to the rally.

Some have been seriously modified, and others are more like factory fresh. But each has the owner's personal touches. And that is what the Parade of homes is all about. We bring home an idea from every rally that we can use to make our rig more comfortable for us.

If an attending brand isn't included here, please let us know, so we can add it.

Thanks,
Kip

Hey, Kip....

I apologize for not notifying you of our reservation for the 2014 rally. You are definitely correct in your statement that we all had a wonderful time 2013, which was our first rally. Here is our info:

Site 100
Gary & Jona from FL
Arriving 10/14 with a 2010 Casita LD
Departing 10/19

Unless something has changed, I believe Donna will be in site 101 and Robert & Merryn in site 96, both, also, from FL.
Hope this clears up a couple of the sites.

Anxiously awaiting October rally....
Jona
(Thank you for all of your hard work and effort!)

Thanks Jona,

Got you and Gary on our list and am adding Donna.
Robert and Merryn had already notified us, but need their trailer brand. Also would like Donna's trailer brand and arrival/departure dates.

We do appreciate you!

We made Cherokee our first FG rally last year. Had a great time. However, we are planning a trip to Upstate N.Y. this October; so we will miss all the great campers. Hope you all have a great time. Ted and Tricia

Looking forward to seeing you folks again and whatever new mods you might have made. Your interior ideas, carpentry skills, lighting, latches, and decorating are terrific!

For the list, What are your arrival and departures dates?
