Mike and Judy Meyer same site as last year 48. Appears that if you snooze you lose for river front.

I dropped a note to Dave, to extend a personal invitation, but he says that it will be difficult for him to make the trip due to cost /distance, etc.

I just did a quick screen grab of the lakefront campsites of the Michigan DNR site, to see what the riverfront site situation looks like for our weekend. The red and yelloe dots are all reserved sites and as you can see, the riverfront is GONE! But lots of campsites left in the park and there are great views to the river from the first 4 rows. Last year, I was on the corner site 52 (its a BIG site )

YOU CAN FIND THE GLASSIC CAMPSITES WE HAVE ON POST #25

Hi Folks, Dale and I are the people from Southern Ontario that stumbled upon your scramble last year (we were parked down in the Wagon Wheel camground... do you remember us?) We can hardly wait to come and be an official part of the festivities this year! We have booked our site......I'm excited already!

Had to look on the map to find Algonac.....

I've lived in Michigan my whole 60+ years and had to look on the map to find Algonac.

I would have guessed it was south of Detroit, not north.

Looks like an interesting place with a nearby wildlife area that could be a great place to paddle.

I'll be on site 219.

Algonac is just about halfway between Detroit and Port Huron. Or, for our Canadian friends, between Windsor and Sarnia.

Hi Pam, I have reserved site 122 for my 4500. September seems a long time away, but as spring has just arrived after a terrible winter I won't wish it away.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
