Received this message. New folks wanting a site or folks in West wanting to move to East.. pay attention!

Had to cancel my reservation. Dairy Creek East, Site #90 is available. I wrote a cancellation request email to the registration people last Friday (2/20), and it hasn't been officially cancelled yet, but I expect to hear from them tomorrow (Monday 2/23). If you're interested, keep an eye on this one.

I now know of two.. TWO sites in East that need to cancel (life happens!). If there's someone that wants a site or someone looking to move from West to East, let me know. I'd really prefer an all molded towable owner grab the East sites than some other build. ONE of the sites is NEXT to me... talk about convenient when it comes to the potlucks!

Update: I will arrive on the 21st. There's a really good clam tide on the 22nd and I want to try to get some razor clams. I may throw a couple of crab pots in while I there too.

Jim, this is the SPRING NOG thread. Are you thinking of Fall NOG at Ft. Stevens? L.L. Stub (Spring NOG) is miles from the beach. Ft. Stevens is right on the beach.

But still, clams and crab....yummmm.

It's about an hour to Seaside from LL Stub. If I can get 15 razor clams and 5 crabs, it will be well worth the trip.

We usually day trip to the beach from LL Stub. I'll see if Norma wants to get wet going in for razor clams.

Paul, Thursday morning at 11:00 am is the last good clam tide. The best ones are earlier in the week. Maybe you can come a day sooner.

Who's ready for camping? Today I drug my trailer out from behind the house and washed it, had the brakes checked, bearings packed and new tires put on.

Jim, I've been out camping all three months this year! I decided I was going out every single month (except December) Just got back from Milo McIver (three glorious days), yesterday.
