Jim - an added plus is that you will be in Stewart's Ice Cream country! There are (at least) two Stewarts within a few miles from the site in either direction.

I'll mention this to Noelia, she loves Stewart's ice cream. Thanx

Sandi, my brother John and sister-in-law Nancy live right on the Hudson River north of Albany NY at 725 Hudson River Rd, Mechanicville NY 12118.
John is handling registration this year. Next time I talk with him I'll ask him about it, and post it here.
Thanks! Looking forward to another egg on the Hudson!
Frank

My brother John will have a rally registration form done soon that I will post here. He's figuring two days, 4 meals and an ice cream social for 50 bucks. Doing meals (which they do for motorhome rallies all the time) they really need to know who's coming! I don't know if power is going to be included in that charge or not. If not, it will be 5 or 6 bucks/night. I imagine there would be a boat ride on the Hudson as well. They have a great little kayak and canoe launch right on there property. With luck, we'll have kayaks by then!
Any questions, lemme know.
Frank

I'm going to make it this year, Frank, so count me in for one set of 4 meals but I'll have 2 servings of ice cream.... Noelia can not make it due to family issues but me and Franklin & Hershey (2 rescue labs) will be there

That's great Jim, looking forward to it. Too bad Noelia can't make it, but sounds like you have good company!

Don't worry about the weather, we all have eggs, not tents!
Bring rain gear, it will at least protect you till you get under one of John & Nancy's big tents. Last time the meal tent was 18 X 27, but they may have got a bigger one, I don't know for sure. Trust me, they put on lots of rallies at their place and know how to do it!
Looking forward to see all of you fine folk!
Frank

How do I insert pdf's here for the Eggbeater Rally announcement and flyer, and the registration form? They are done and ready.
Just so you know, here's some details from the flyer: free parking, 13 electric sites ($6/night), 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, ice cream social, narrated boat rides, campfires. $50 bucks/rig. Will need to fill out registration, send check or whatever.
So now I'm at a loss as to how to post pdf's?
Frank

Not sure, but I don't think you can directly post a pdf. The only choices I know are to take a picture of it and attach the jpeg, or include a link to it on another site.

Thanks Walt. Can't do any of that at work, so I'll try and figure something out when I get home tonight.

I managed to print this by first copying and pasting it to Open Office and printing it from there. Presumedly the same will work with MS Office

Printed out form and just sent it in with the check.
One question. since you described the electrical outlets as a cluster, should should I get a 30 amp extension for the 25ft connection that comes with my Casita?
Looking forward to the event.

Keep in mind that poster a couple posts above is from last year!
I've got an email into John about the 30 amp cords. They have a rally going this weekend. I'll let you fellows know soon as I hear from him.
Enjoy your weekend folks!
Frank

Since we are only about 15 miles away , we decided to drop our check off in person. I intended only to drop the check off and leave but John came to the door & said he wanted me to take the tour .... so off we went in his electric golf cart. I asked John about the need for long power cords and his response was that it depends on how far(where in line) your rig is parked away from the large board that has all the power outlets. There was a small group of motorhomes camped on their property, with 6-8 motorhomes receiving power. I requested a spot for 2 nights (Fri. & Sat.) which would have a 30 amp service so I could run my air conditioner in case it is real hot. I also met John's wife Nancy. John and Nancy are real eager to see & meet all of us egg owners who plan on coming. Both John & Nancy were very friendly ,they are very nice people . The area is pretty wide open & will be easy to get in & out with shade trees along the Hudson river where the dock area is located providing plenty room for lawn chairs. I also asked about the Xtra day up front( the 13th) Thur. & John was going to check with Nancy to see if a mistake had been made changing it to a 4 day instead of 3 days.
