We do not have an rv but are very interested in getting a fiberglass. We would like to attend the open house on that Saturday. Obviously we would need to travel and book a room nearby. Do we just show up at the campground, rv-less, and they'll let us in? Are tiny little dogs permitted on-leash?

Thanks!

You may have to pay a small entrance fee; or if you tell them what you are doing, they may just let you in. Most FG owners are happy to show you their trailers so just show up, and most campgrounds allow dogs on leashes, so you should be OK on all counts.

Tell them at the gate that you are visiting Dennis Archer on site 338. Dogs are allowed on leash. There is an entrance fee but they have sometimes waived it in the past. Let them know that you will only be there long enough to view some of the trailers. The open house will start on Saturday at 2:00 PM. They also have cabins available for rent. You are also welcome to join our potluck at 5:00 pm. Feel free to PM if I may be of any further assistance.

Name tags & warm clothing.

We do not issue name tags so please bring your own if you have them. Early mornings and evenings can sometimes be on the chilly side at LBL this time of the year. Bring warm clothing just in case. When you arrive stop by Shortleaf site 338 to pick up a schedule.
