Keep checking, you might find one open closer to the time of the rally due to cancellation.

I am willing to share my site 190 in Taylor Ridge. It does not have a steep slope drive and claims to have some shade. I will be in a tent so someone can put a camper on my site. I would love to share with a woman or couple in a FGRV since I am attending to see and learn about the eggs. I don't drink alcohol or have a pet and would prefer to share with same. It will be just me this time, no nieces. - Lynn

Wink Brown County

Thanks for the offer Lyn but I'm a "Wino with a camping problem" and I have a dog. I tent camped for 30 years and the Casita is my second camper, so feel free to pick my brain. Whats left of it!

This is my first Egg Rally. I reserved spot 190 and will arrive Friday afternoon and leave Sunday evening. I will be in a tent since I haven't found my FGRV yet. If someone wants to share my site, I am open to that. Email LynnG@ remax.net.

No itinerary except for the Saturday meals. This is a pretty laid back bunch. Looking forward to being there. I need to dust off the Companion.

Missing this year

Sue and Tom Fields will miss everyone this year. We are Early Birds in Florida already. We hope the weather is better this year.

Smiles, Tom

I'm so glad I found all of you. We're in the market for a used fiberglass and need an education. We'll be staying the week just down the road on our sailboat on Lake Monroe but plan to sell the boat and be in an RV full time by next year. Lots to learn, so well stop by for a visit if that's alright?
Fair winds and clear roads,
Mary

The extended forecast for this rally looks chilly and rainy. Bring your warm clothes!

Is the Saturday night dinner a pot luck or does everyone bring their own food and just eat together? I'll need to know what to bring if its pot luck.

Pot luck. And bring whatever you're good at making. We always have a good variety.

Guess I'll get wet driving down on friday, but there's no rain predicted on Saturday!!
We just need to shift that warmer weather forward by a couple of days

Keep in mind the alternative route, seems like there are wrecks with 3-4 hr. Delays almost every other day on I 65 south of Indy due to the way they are handling construction.

US 41 is a good alternative.

41 is way out of the way for Pam and Tom from where they live in Michigan. My daughter who lives near Grand Rapids recommends US31 since the finished the bypass around Kokomo. Still the issue is between Indy and Edinburgh where they have some funky lane restrictions which cause confusion and accidents.

I'm coming down from the eastern half of Michigan (Fenton) so if 65 is crappy, it looks like it will need to be 75 southbound. Maybe all the way to Cincinnati and then cut west on 50 to come in from a little bit south.

Pam we live about 30 miles from Brown County and when we go to Algonac we use I69 to get to Michigan and turn east on I94 to Detroit etc. I would come down I69 to Indy to I465 and take the loop all the way to the SW corner to pick up US 37 then south to the little town of Waverly at SR 144 (stop light)then East to Bargersville to SR135(next stoplight) then South to Nashville to SR 46 then west up the Hills to the West entrance of Brown co. State park. The only Issue with I65 that I know about now is the 20 miles of construction South of Indy as they fixed the bridge south of Lafayette. just had another notice of a wreck there about 15 min. ago. There are other options but this will be the shortest with the least amount of traffic.
