We have a 17ft Casita Liberty. What else do you need to know? My wife, Kris, and Zeb, our dog, will be coming as well.

Rachel, we look foreword to meeting you and are sure you will enjoy the group. I don't have to sing the praises of Door county to a fellow "Sconie". I will also be interested in the Snoozy in that I've never seen one.

Hi Sid: Welcome to the group. Egg Harbor should be a great time. I am looking forward to meeting you and taking a look at your Parkliner.

Welcome Rachel and Sid,
We'll all be eager to see a Lil' Snoozy and a Parkliner, as well as meeting new folks. It is, after all, the people who make these events go.
There are still some tent (no services) sites available in the main loop and more service sites in the overflow area. There is a shortcut from the overflow to the main loop, and there are already 7 or 8 trailers there.
Please bring any instruments for the nightly music.
We will update the Google site when the IT department (Kathy Dalby) returns from Florida.

Campground owners say we're full up.

Mike and Deb, campground owners, have stopped taking reservations for the rally as 60 is the limit on sites available. We look forward to June and "Eggs at Egg Harbor".

We just got our Casita last month and unfortunately don't have the vacation time for an extended road trip this year, so I hope this event is on for 2017. My dear friends have a family gathering in Wisconsin (Lake Pettenwell) every year on Memorial Day, and it would be great to combine these in one trip. I grew up in the Chicago area and haven't been to Door County since the 70s. Always loved it, and hope to bring an egg to Egg Harbor next year.

Hi Jim,
This is not an annual event, although we did have one in 2014. That said we have had (held under various names) an annual event in the upper Midwest in June, so watch for it next June. We may return to Door county in the future, so stay tuned.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Last I heard from the campground they were at their limit. You could of course call and see if they have anything they could offer. There are some tent sites in the main loop and we may even be able to rig a longer extension cord if your demand is not too great. Our IT department (Kathy) is busy with a local plant sale, so I'll wait until after next weekend to ask her to update the Google site and let everyone know when it is available.

We don't have a an egg yet, but are interested in buying one. As we live in the area, Can we visit the rally to see campers?

Absolutely Paul,
We plan on a trailer tour Saturday morning at 10 AM. Those who participate will have a pink ribbon on their staked sign. If you can't make it then most folks are willing to show their trailer at the drop of a hat. PM me for our cell number as I have someone knowledgeable in mind to help you tour. First time I'll have seen a Parkliner, Lil Snoozy, or Trillium 4500. All pretty rare around here, so that will be interesting.

Called today to try and get a spot kind of late. They are really booked up.
Spoke to a Carol and she was very helpful and my wife Diane and I will be
at site T518. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing all the various
trailers. Our first gathering as well.

Glad to hear you were able to find a spot Bill. We will be happy to meet new fiberglass campers and to have a Burro at the rally! We will update the schedule at the Google site soon so you know what to expect, but it includes Door county so it's bound to be a good time.

Is early June still pretty cold in upper WI? Or does it just depend on which year and different all the time? I know swimming in Lake Michigan is ALWAYS cold.
It rains a lot in June. I did swim in Lake Michigan in June a little south of there and do not remember it being too cold. Their peak season is July and August. Believe it or not, there are some things not open in June yet. I had not encountered that before. What I liked most up there are the cherries!
