Weather forecast is improving as the week goes on. Let's hope for dry(er) weather!

A good turnout

Come on up, it has been one of those on and off type of rainy day. I don't think tomorrow is supposed to be as bad. A bit cool though. For a first time event and a first time event host we all should give Johnny a round of applause and thanks for all he has done.

Just a quick side comment, this could have been changed to a CLAM shelter event. Just off the top of my head there are around 5 in the first section you drive through. The most I have seen at one time anywhere.

We're having a nice rally in a beautiful campground in the North Georgia Mountains. Many thanks to Johnny M and family for arranging it.
We have 30+ rigs with a surprising variety of brands including the first Fiber Stream most of us have seen.
I tried several times to attach a pic, but it wasn't accepted.

We're an hour out, and YES thank you Johnny for organizing this event. Looking forward to meeting everyone. My folks and our friends should already be there.

I live those clams, just not the price tag 😧

I haven't been able to post pics. A campground bandwidth problem I suspect.

I was sorry we got up there so late, but we appreciated getting a chance to look at several rigs, it was easy to see that y'all are proud of your eggs. Thanks for showing us around,

By the way, I have a set of dinette cushions from a 1982 Scamp 13. I saved them when Courtney redid hers, thinking I might use them or parts thereof in my project. I did not, now they're surplus. If anyone can use them, speak up and I'll bring them along. Otherwise I'll discard them with the rest of the leftovers.

I thought I threw them away, LOL! U-Haul Jane might want them. Matt said she expressed interest in my original couch/bunk cushions.

This past weekends 1st annual Eggs on the Hiawassee Rally was a huge success! There will be a 2nd annual on May 18-20, 2017 and many have already reserved their spot for next year. Special thanks to Riverbend Campground for such great facilities, a beautiful campground and 5 star staff. I would like to thank our sponsor Vintage Trailer Supply for their generous donations of gift certificates, and the t-shirts, hat, and key chains. Terri & Jona thank you so much for your help with the fish fry! Also special thanks to Holly, Jack & Shelly for the door prize donations and Bill for the awesome cake with our logo! Check out the great pictures CamperBill and WaltP have posted up. We tried to make sure we got around to meet and talk to everyone and we sure made some great friends this weekend! Little Ryan had a blast too. See you next year!

Thanks again for putting it all together. With the sites we reserved as we left, I believe there are 17 already for next year.

And yes, I forgot to bring the cushions. Duh.

My folks, Matt, or two girls, and I will be in sites 11 and 12 next year.

And that Thursday night will be my oldest's 10th bday, so there will be lots of cake

Great Ryan will love having someone to pal around with...

Courtney if you click on the calendar link in the navigation bar it will take you to a calendar for the current month and year. Scroll down and you will see a jump to section, change the year to 2017. Click on the rally listing for the 18th and at the bottom is a place to RSVP.
