There still sites available, for more to join us for a good time!
Campground is looking good, I got the plumbing all done in the second Comfort station so at both ends of the campground, there are restrooms and free hot showers, The dryer vents are another problem and they'll have to deal with that on thier own. I go in for minor day surgery on Friday so will have to take it easy from now till the Rally.
I will be greeting each and everyone of you upon arrival.
Can not wait to kick off the season with a bang at the Spring Fling.

12 more days!
Was down to campground yesterday and over did it a bit, should have stayed home to recoupe after my surgery day before.
Pavilion is just about cleared of all winter stored stuff and staff is working like little beavers getting all sites raked for opening next weekend.
Store worker Doris can't wait to get the season started and is stocking the shelves.
Our Rally has been reposted on other sites, Scamp and Whofish, and I am sure there will be others who are not on FGRV and other day visitors, who will just be there for the meet and great to check out all our fine trailers.
Still up in the air as to if Pot-Luck will be indoors or out guess we'll have to wait and see what weather will be.
I plan to be there to great you all as you come in.
Gerry

Just one week to go.....for the Spring Fling in New England Rally
Now's the time to start doing the "NO RAIN DANCE" and use the "CLOUD BUSTERS"
Campground has a nice rec-hall with a large fireplace and big TV for movies.
Any Special movies you want to see? Let me know.

Should I bring firewood? Keep in mind I'm from out of state, although I've had the wood so long I imagine any Ash borers have died of old age.

To all Spring Flingers... no outside firewood is allowed in... Rec. hall and community fire pit will have wood from campground and campground does have firewood for sale to burn at sites.
NH Kiln Dried fire wood is let in if person has sales slip.

The perfect movies for any rally are RV with Robin Williams and the Long, Long, Trailer.

This is the great unknown, by my last count last week, Peopel attending rally was 30 and last I talked to campground thier count was 22 sites.
Some of these may not even want to participate.
Wife asked the same question and I said the rules for a pot luck is to bring about 2 times as much food you would make for us. Theory is you probably will want to try other dishes and not you own.
If everyone samples alittle of this and alittle of that it should be enough for all. Do not try to cook enough for say 30 people who want to just eat your dish.
I on the other hand have to BBQ chicken...for all...So on Friday morning I plan to get a count of those who will come to the dinner then thaw and precook the chicken enough for all.
I got 100 breast and I am sure not to cook all that.
Remember Bring you own plates and silverware and non-alcaholic beverages to the Pot Luck
Napkins will be there is Drinks and coffee that can be purchased in store ajoined to where we will be eating.

Hi all!
I don't have a FGRV yet but I am planning to buy one. Actually I haven't even seen any yet. I was planning to day trip up to the rally on Friday and hopefully meet some of you and see your rigs. Will a day tripper be welcomed? I really want to see some of these trailers in person - so far I've only seen pictures of Scamps and Casitas.
Thanks,
Sue

There will be quite a few days visitors coming in to taka a look over the weekend so we would be happy to see you and Friday is the Meet & Greet and Show & Shine where we like to show off our FGRV's but some who can not make it on Friday will still be welcome.
There may or may not be a day use fee but it would be under $10. I am telling the owern all these day visitors may be future campers for other rallies.

Hi Gerry, there will be 4 of us coming, 2 adults and 2 kids, but not knowing our arrival time on Friday and etc., we will not plan on the potluck. If we make it in time, we might stop in just to meet and mingle as it were...
