Sorry I didn't answer you sooner, I am just checking this now.

It's at the Ledges Campground from August 25-27th. I got the last reserved spot but they have walk up sites. You could also check for cancelations as the days get closer.

Rita L Sooby, site A13, 8-10 September, Lawrence.

I will pick up my Casita in October, but this gathering looks like a good way to get to know the community and glean some useful information. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Kansas Eggstravaganza August, 2017 Update

At this time there are no reservable sites available in A-Loop. Right now every site that can be reserved is taken by an Eggstravaganza attendee ( a first). We also have 2 people in the same site, but not for the same days. I have always said that the 10 first come/first served sites have never been all taken, however the camp hosts think they may be full this year because a large number of troops have just returned from deployment. We can double up in sites as long as only one unit is plugged into electricity at one time. Each rig pays it's regular price.

B-Loop has sites but there are no hookups. Water is available at several locations. B-Loop also has pit toilets instead of restrooms.

We have several potential changes to discuss around the campfires that I will not get into here. Nothing too earth shattering.

It looks like we have several new people this year so I will remind everyone of our “rules”:
Our gathering is for Fiberglass campers and friends. Come as soon as you can, stay as long as you can, participate as much or as little as you like. This does include the Rally Bag event, however every rig will receive a bag but there is no obligation to contribute to the bags.

A couple years ago we had a DJ play for us after the Pizza Party and he had a bucket for contributions. He donated all that was collected to a fund for soldiers. The campground hosts ask if we would like to have him this year. He may be available this year and if so I will add him to the agenda. Again there will be no obligation to contribute.

How many rigs are expected? Want to participate in the Rally bag event and want to be certain I have enough.

We have switched our reservation from site A39 to A12 so that we can arrive 2 days sooner so now A39 is up for grabs. See you all soon.

We will be leaving late tomorrow morning from Omaha. I was wondering what day and time these various events are planned for? Looking forward to the weekend!

Thanks from the Saturday visitors

Hello to all,

We are the folks who were walking around the campground asking questions on Saturday afternoon. Thanks so much to those of you who shared your campers with us to see. And extra thanks for the advice on how to get started with a fiberglass camper.

Tom and Joyce - Thanks for another great rally!

Bill and Paula - You are welcome for any help provided. I've sent you a private
message (PM) with links to some of the things we discussed. Hopefully, you
know how to look at your PMs.

Also, you might look into attending the Clear Lake Iowa Gathering September 21-24, 2017.

I think that you'll find Floyd to be a very knowledgeable FGRV resource!

Safe and Happy travels to all!

Great Time

Thanks to everyone for a great time. I think we learned more in a couple of days at the rally than we have in all our other experiences put together.

We have our phones set to remind us to reserve for next year.

Thanks again.
