March Update
The boler 50th Anniversary Event is growing every day, here is the updated numbers as of the end of March:
- 333 - trailers registered
- 677 - participants
- 60 - children 12 and under are attending
- 17 - different trailer manufacturers
- 243 - boler's
- 9 - Canadian Provinces represented
- 14 - US States represented
- 4131 km - furthest away so far (Corner Brook NL)
- 6 - Caravans, 3 from across Canada & 3 for the USA

This is a new updated tentative route for any one interested leaving from the southern Ontario or Michigan area or anyone wishing to use this route and will be finalized in the next couple of weeks. If any one is interested in this route if they could pm me it would make it easier to organize . This is the route I will be useing and if any one wants to use part of it ,or do their own thing and meet at the nightly stops on the way that is fine also.
The start will be in Macanaw city with the meetup between 1- 3 o’clock in the after noon on Sunday August 12 at a place to be announced later ,maybe a restaraunt or shopping area. We will than proceed at 3 pm across the mackinaw bridge for a 150 mile trip to the Island Resort casino in Escanaba which I have been assured that they allow boondocking as long as you spend all your life savings there lol !
August 13 we will leave for a approximately 300 mile drive to Duluth Minnesota to the deluth convention center were they have limited electrical sites for those that need them . There is also camgrounds in the area for any one wishing to use them but at that time of the year they could be full.
August 14 we leave for Winnipeg which is another approximately 300 mile trip.
This is a tentative scheduled route and is open to anyone going to Winnipeg who wishes to caravan along this route and can be used wholy or any part of it or just meet at the scheduled stops. I also assume no responsibility for any unforeseen issues that can occur on this route . Also if Ian you could let me know if this route works for you and is not duplicating another route. I will also post this on the trillium ,boler Facebook and the Happier Camper Facebook thanks Mike.

This is the finalized route to Winnipeg I will be taking and is open to any fg trailer that wants to join in for all or part of the caravan. This route should work well for anyone from southern Ontario,Michigan.wisconsin,Minnesota area as well as any one from the southern or southeastern US.i will be starting from the Windsor Detroit area with my group of 4-5 trailers and if anyone else wants to start there they can pm me or email me at mikmay@gmail.com for more info.
We will leave Detroit on aug the 11th or 12 to mackinaw city arriving around 1 pm on the 12th.we will wait until 3 pm at the mackinaw visitor center for anyone that wants to join the caravan and then proceed across the mackinaw bridge for a 150 mile aprox 4 hour trip to the Island Resort Cassino just past Escanaba mich were I have been assured we can boondock in there rv parking area.
We will then leave on aug 13th between 9-10 am for a 300 mile trip to the Duluth Minnesota convention center were they have plenty of rv parking and some with Ac power service on a first come availability.
We will then leave on aug 14th between 9-10 for the remaining 350 miles to manatoba. There are campgrounds close by all the stops for any one that needs them but at that time of year they could be full. There also could be changes in times due to weather , construction , or unforeseen events . This is the route I will be taking and can joined in any part of it but I would appreciate if you could contact me if you do .thanks.
