I plan to arrive on the 12th.

Schedule of Events will be available next week

We snuck into the leprechauns workshop today, and they’ve been very busy for the Green Eggs and Ham attendees. Hand crafted green lanyards!

The schedule of events is being finalized this week by the Event Masters. It will be emailed to all registered participants next week as a pdf file. Please print and/or download the schedule; we will not have spare copies at the rally.

Registration will CLOSE on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. No rig fee refunds will be given past this date. Can't remember if you registered? Please double check before registering and paying again! Email Jeannine if you need to ask.

Reservation sites that we don’t have registration for: 3, 4, 7, 23, 29, 31, 38, 39, 43-45, 52, 55, 57, 62, 73 (from 3/15/18), Antioch: 76, 83 (from 3/15/18), 84, 88, 97, 100, 101, 117, 132, 139, 143

If someone cancels after February 14th and you get their site to participate in the rally, please email Jeannine to learn how to join us. Her email is found on the Green Eggs and Ham Website.

For the determined, there are a total of 19 non-reserveable, walk-up only sites available at Gunter Hill! If you make it in, please check in with us at the pavilion on March 14th.

Extended weather forecast (looking 10 days forward, for what that's worth) for the Montgomery, Alabama, region is starting to give us a glimpse into what kind of weather to expect for the upcoming GE&H rally. In general, daytime highs in the mid-60s to low-70s, nighttime lows in the mid-40s to low 50s, partly cloudy with 20-30% chance of scattered morning showers, 7-8 mph breeze out of the W-SSW. Fairly typical beautiful springtime weather in Alabama. Lots of flowering shrubs budding/blooming already with some tree pollen in the air (and on our truck and camper!). Might be good timing to catch an early Dogwood and Azalea bloom.

10 degrees warmer during the day than south central KY. I will take it! Looks great.

The forecast for our town that weekend is highs of 27-30 and lows 15-19, so GE&H will be much much warmer. Can hardly wait!

Health issues preclude me from attending this year so Catoma 038 is up for grabs. Cheers and hope to see you all next year.

Green Eggs is almost here!

I’ll be in communication until Friday evening, March 9th. Otherwise, safe and enjoyable travels and I’ll see y’all at the biggest Ham event ever next week.

Thanks for the weather report.

I see that my site Antioch 83 is listed as not having a reservation. I'm supposed to be at that site 3/16-17. Or am I reading it wrong. Shenanigans. Panama City

Hi Sandra,
You're not reading it wrong, you never signed up with the rally as per this thread's OP (Original Post). Everything was clearly laid out on the rally Website, and I've been calling out your site for months to register.

Seeing you've only posted on Fiberglass RV twice and you joined in October of 2017, I'm going to presume you're new to all this. That's fair and understandable.

I'm going to send you a PM (private message) regarding how we can resolve this. If you don't know how to utilize your private messaging on this site, please use the link in the OP to get to the rally Website and email me directly.

Otherwise, I'll talk with you in-person at the rally. Bring $20 cash for your rally fee.

Kind regards,
Jeannine

Hooked up ready to leave Sunday

For those of you already in the south, just thought you'd like to see our preparations for leaving here for the rally Sunday (and thinking that you're glad you're not here). After cleaning off eight inches of wet snow early in the week, it's now -14C or 6F this morning. Can hardly wait to get on the road to Gunter Hill Although the weather doesn't look to be all that warm there next week, it will certainly be better than here.

The weathermen are now calling for highs in the high 50's to low 60's, lows in the high 30's mid-week, but Friday-Sunday look great! High Sunday may get close to 80! Slight chance of passing showers Saturday & Sunday evenings....

For those interested, I've started a page of photos of the Green Eggs & Ham rally. I'll be adding to it as the week goes on.

A big thanks to the rally organizers it was a great rally the weather cooperated with just a touch of rain. We even got a piece each of Jon's famous blueberry pie.
