Great Jeff, that is a Super Site and I am sure you'll enjoy it.
All even numbered sites # from 36 to 50 are Super Sites and come with a Wooden Deck, Deck furniture, and a Propane Grill on the sites and look over the water.
I will be almost across the road on site # 49.

Heading up to the Campground to lend a hand closing up some friends campers and get ready for winter. This may be my last camping for the 2017 season but as long as snow is off the ground and I can find a place to go....I Plan to...Temps. last night were down in the 20's here in Western Maine down in the Valleys.
Going to turn on the Furnace tonight for sure.

Glad you could make it John, I just got back from the Campground, lending a hand to some of my friends winterizing their campers and heading back on Friday to do a few more and actually now that the campground is closed for season will be able to relax a bit up there.
You'll be very happy with your site.
I've heard that over winter improvements to the campground will be an outside, wood-fired Pizza oven going in.
If so maybe a Pizza night is in for the Spring Fling Rally.
"To Be or Not To Be" this is the question right now.
Talk more about this later

Hey Chris & Charlie, Glad you can make it next May 17 - 20 for the 2nd annual Spring Fling. I've got the Schedule of Events all done and just have to run them by some people before I can post them.
Been talking to friends who went to the Tearstock rally on the Outer Banks and they gave me some great ideas I will incorporate in my Rally.
2018 Rally will be filled with things to do in and out of the campground.
We may have to extend this Rally by a few days in future years.
Just put the Boler away for the winter and now am itching to go camping already.
Gerry

HI All you Spring Flingers who will making the 2nd annual Rally in NH even better then last year. We got our first snow storm of the year and already I am saying "I Can't Wait Till Next Spring and Camping Again"
This past weekend I got together with a local manufacturer of an original item she was selling and asked if she would like to come to the Rally to give a demonstration on this innovative product and they said they would love to.
I also have been getting ideas of interesting things to do at the rally and when I can nail things down I will pass them along.
Hope all is well with everyone and to all Happy Holidays!

Diane & Bob, Great....Tell me about it. With 16 inches of snow around the feet of the Boler and the Temps last Thursday at a steady minus29 F not counting the wind, just can throw another 4 logs into the Wood Fired Boiler and dream about a nice sunny warm day at the Campground.
Will be here before we know it.
Think I would rather mow grass instead of shoveling snow all the same.

I don’t want to rub it in Gerry, but the wife and I are in sunny Arizona this winter. No shoveling for me this year! 74 today in Apache Junction. See you at the Fling this May.

And, from another NY Jon (without the "h"), temporarily transported to Arizona, hope you will be mowing grass soon. Only 70°F here at Quartzsite, but I really can't complain!

Rub it in if you want...any rubbing may bring the body temps up...You know it is cold when it sounds like a bunch of kids playing with violins, the way your boots squeak when walking across the driveway or after walking in the snow up to you knees with jeans, and when you get done taking the X-mas lights down from the front of the house, you make you way back to the driveway, where the wind blows the snow off you pant legs and they're just as dry as you were when you went into the drifts.

That's great Dennis and Pat, You've picked a great BIG water front site.
Steve is doing his job in the office this winter and he is doing a great job for us with Spring Fling reservations.

BIG NEWS: The campground is now building an outdoor, wood fired pizza oven and should have it up and running in time for the rally.

Great Nathan this is another great site on the water front reserved with a nice big wooden deck.
It'll be here before we know it.
Again, I've been busy getting a schedule of events for the Spring Fling weekend and it's going to be a lot of fun.
Remember the more camp sites we reserve the lower the price will be so make you plans and reserve now at (603) 323-8563 or (888)237-8642

new people

Hi, I'm Steve. My wife, daughter, and I live in VT. We recently got an 85 Uhaul and love it very much. We're planning on this trip to be our first meet-up with other little hardshell lovers. We probably can't do the whole thing, just Friday through Sunday. What day is the usual meet and great and potluck?
Thanks
