2019, June 24-27: Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous

The 2019 Colorado Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous will be in the same National Forest Service campground as 2018, Mountain Park group site (west of Fort Collins) from June 24th through the 27. It is basically a parking lot with a very nice shelter, group fire pit and many tent pads (for those inclined to sleep in a tent). There is room for about 20 Fiberglass trailers. There is more information on the web site:
www.RockyMtnEggRendezvous.com
Please go to the 2019 Fiberglass RV Rally Calendar to sign up. No deposit or money is needed before the rally if you plan on staying in the group site. We will calculate the costs at the rally. Past Rendezvous were less than $20/night (usually between $10 and $15 a night).
We usually have one evening potluck if you want to join us and an evening campfire, weather permitting and no fire ban.

Is this a National Park? Or a National Forest?

No hookups in the "group area", but lots of individual sites with hookups. For the individual sites you'll need to make your own reservations. There's good opportunity for direct sun in the group area if you have solar panels. The campground is right along the Poudre River, so bring your fishing equipment if so inclined.

Google maps rallies

Google maps rallies list shows the wrong dates for this Colorado rally. Go to map and it shows it in July. It is June 24-27, 2019. People will see July on opening page and miss it. WHO CAN CORRECT THIS?

Don't rely on Google. They seem to have a lot of misinformation.

The Google map site is where the list of FG rallies is by date. I just want it fixed so people know the correct date to plan their travels. Are you saying that list of rallies has a lot of mistakes on it?

Still awaiting for an address. We didn’t attend 2018 rally, so have no idea where this park address is. If anyone can help, please do.

From previous info: it is the Mountain Park Campground at Mountain Park Recreation Area, 33.7 miles from Fort Collins on State Hwy 14, at 6500+ ft elevation, On the Cache LaPoudre River.

Thank you Thom. We’re still not sure if we will be there, but I hope so, as it is always nice to see friends and make new ones.

Rocky Mountains

Hi Thom
I am delinquent in reporting to you that my wife Rita and I will be attending the rally again this year. We will be in the regular CG and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Our 2013 Escape 21 will be available for viewing should anyone so desire. Looking forward to the trip and the beauty of the mountains. Last year we went for a drive and saw this guy. And this mystery egg.
Iowa Dave
