2019, May 31-June 2: Taidnapam Washington Gathering (WAG) 2019
May 31-June 2 2019 I just checked and there are lots of sites available right now. I know last year I wasn't paying attention and our usual site was taken. We are signing up soon so don't leave us hanging out there all by ourselves!!

You are welcome. This is a beautiful park and location. Great for hiking and bike riding too. Hopefully more people will come to this gathering! Nice big spaces with full hookups in the area most of us stay.

Are mediocre fiddle players welcome?
I used to live about ten miles from there. Now that I don't, maybe I will go. It is a very nice place.
I can probably bike to visit some friends that live up the potholed, muddy logging road.
The road to the park is in good shape and paved. I did not mean to cause any confusion.

I just got off the phone and reserved site #245, coming in May 30th and leaving June 3rd. I was having a heck of a time trying to find a spot there where I didn't have to move around during that time from site to site. I tried different search features and finally gave up and called. Yeah, it cost me a few more bucks to reserve over the phone, but it was worth it.
Her map was showing a bunch of available spots for the entire time. Mine wasn't. It's a new system for them, so I guess there's still some bugs in it.
Moral of the story - if you go to their site and nothing shows up with a green dot, give them a call as there might really be sites available. I had a choice of at least 8, including some pull-throughs. However, those all said they were near a refuse disposal, which must be huge as a bunch of sites were near it.
Update: just looked and now a bunch of sites are showing, but I didn't put in power requirements, which those sites do have. Weird. Just don't fill out any of the search features, I guess.
Anyway, I'm booked. I'll be there. Maybe with a cat, maybe not. Have to see how they are as trailer travelers.

What site is the potluck at?
Deb and Chuck, what site are you at? Are you having the potluck at your site? Because of limited mobility, Karen Langlois & I would like to reserve as close as possible--two side-by-side sites.

Taidnapam
I'm sort of lost looking at this thread, so please excuse me if I already mentioned I've got reservations for site 225.
Karen Langlois is coming, too.
I've been thinking about last year's SAFE as well--what weekend was that last year? No coordinator this year yet?
TODAY I got my Compact Jr.'s baby moon hub caps back from the chromer's. Beautiful! Pray now they won't get stolen! Long story as to how come I even got them chromed; suffice it to say that others are often more enthusiastic about improving Jr. than I am, yet I somehow always end up paying. The vinyl pop-top got torn while in someone else's hands, and it's going to awfully cold & wet in there if we can't find an upholsterer or boat-top maker to re-do it for me. Any ideas?
PS Usually WAG extends over my birthday, June 4. But this year I get to be at home!
