Mrs. OC wants to go exploring. (She's also more "pro-solitude" than I am...) So we may bug out early and screw around in AZ or UT. But if there's going to be a critical mass of Hymers and forum regulars, we might shift the schedule accordingly. Having never been, I'm not sure how much of a zoo it'll be over the weekend.

What are you thinking?
Lake Havasu is a nice day trip and as I said previously there always seems to be some type of motor sports going on up in Parker. It's a zoo but not all that bad in Quartzsite.

Wow, Joy! I somehow missed your post last spring. I'll not be at Quartzite, but I just wanted to say hello anyway!

You might cruise around and through some of the "state" long term camping areas and see if you spot some fiberglass campers. Several who attend the Quartzsite gathering spend a couple months in the long term areas until the event actually gets under way.

Shopping for fiberglass camper 13-21' long. What are the "instructional sessions" (both) and when are they scheduled. Would it be helpful to us? Thanks.

I'm here and need some fiberglass to chase away the stick builts. Dome Rock is pretty empty, but there are some Olivers & a Casita or two east of the usual set up area.

Last year we were all set up (20 plus fiberglass trailers) for 2 weeks before it started. Suddenly one day everyone packed up and moved further west. It will probably be the same this year. We were going to head down Thursday but I got a call from Camper World that Dometic has sent me a new stove in lieu of repairing mine and it will be here Fri or Sat. I think we'll head down first thing Monday morning instead so that they have time to install it.

I know it is early, but there are lots of fiberglass trailers already here at Dome Rock, so I started a page of photos: 2020 Quartzsite Rally
