Here is the latest Post I got via face book on the Campground status. I was in contact with administration and was told that all registered guest will be receiving an E-Mail with this same information but just in case they drop the ball on this I am sending it along here.

Camping Guest - Protocol for Covid-19 Mitigation
The owners, management and staff of Chocorua Camping Village KOA would like to thank you for your patronage and assistance during these challenging times. We will be opened May 1st as allowed by State of New Hampshire Emergency Order 27, and/or recommendations by KOA, CDC, WHO, and our camping associates at ARVC (Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds), and NeHaCa (New Hampshire Campground Owners Association).
We, as a family owned and operated essential outdoor hospitality business, are requesting your help and compliance to keep our campground safe from the spread of Covid-19. Please look over the following information and adhere to these policies to keep you, your family, and our staff healthy and safe.
The office will be open shortened hours and will be operated out of the window to reduce contact. Please pay any balances due ahead of time by phone. New Check-In instructions will be posted outside office. Escort to site will be provided.
Any questions or wood delivery requests can be made by calling the office, (603) 323 – 8536 to reduce direct contact.
Our public spaces including the Rec Hall, Game Room, Pavilion, Playgrounds and Pool, will be closed temporarily to promote guidelines of social distancing and to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. These areas will re-open when deemed safe and appropriate by State of NH and campground management.
CSA (restrooms by large Playground) will be closed until further notice.
CSB (restroom by Store) and laundry will be open for one guest at a time.
Bathrooms and Laundry will be posted with hygiene and social distance guidelines with hand sanitization stations at entrance.
The camp store will be open reduced hours on a one guest at a time basis, social distanced from store attendant.
We ask that guests going into store wear a mask to protect our staff and surfaces from exposure.
Store purchases and delivery to site will be available by phone (603) 323 – 6188 with credit card.
We ask that camping guests, seasonals, and children remain on their site, to mitigate spread of Covid-19, to adhere to guidelines of social distancing, and to follow the stay- at home order for NH that is in place until May 4th, 2020. This may change depending on future Emergency Orders from NH Governor.
We require that all guests maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet from other guests, friends and staff members.
Please do not invite neighbors or friends to your site to maintain the required 6 ft. social distancing guidelines.
We require that all staff and guests wear facemasks when walking off their campsite, to help insure the health and safety of our staff and other guests.
The nature trails, dog park, and boat launch area will be available for campers’ use. Please follow social distancing guidelines as well as hand sanitizing.

We did get this email Gerry but thank you this it is encouraging, we will be there but also take this serious as we lost a friend to COVID but all in all we only have 10 confirmed cases in our county we dont even go to the stores we order items and wipe them all off when we get them just in case. We are looking forward to Spring Fling even though we won't be able to do the group activities it will be like going to a campground and having allot of friends there just at a distance we can do this!!!!

We have come to the decision to cancel for this year. Being that we come from the NYC metro area, I’m sure we will still be under stay at home orders. We look forward to next year!

Glade I could pass this on and campground did confirm that an E-Mail was being sent out to any May registered camper.
Charlie and Chris you be missed but for sure we'll see you next year.
Everyone has to decide for themselves if they will make it or not.

Heading up to campground on Sat. to build some Sanitation stations for them to use at public areas.
They need these ASAP because they open May 1 for the season.

I use to know how to send pictures on this site but either age of myself or my operating system I can't seem to get them loaded or I would send some pictures of the Campground.
I was just hired on a part time basis as Special Projects at the campground for the season.
Start tomorrow building sanitation stations for public areas.

18 more days till the rally and was at the campground working. Yup Working.
I was asked to take a job there and go on the payroll and HMMM should I say it, I took it like a fool.
Thinking maybe going on summer camping trips around this summer wouldn't be something that would happen decided camping at Chocorua Camping Village will be OK but I got to tell you, just 2 - 8 hour days of working and I feel it all over.
When I am working at home, I can take many breaks but 8 hours steady is a bit much.

The count now stands at 23 sites will be attending the rally.
I am still mulling over just how the chicken dinner will take place and the GM of the campground has suggested a few ideas on how to do it safely and we'll see how it can be done.

The staff has did a bang up job cleaning most all of the winter debris out of the campsites and will have it done by our Rally but a few areas wont be open for May 1 when the campground is scheduled to open.

We all got today off because forecast was calling for 6 / 9 inches of snow and outside projects couldn't get done but waking this morning I see the ground is still bare, Thank God.

Yes Dave nothing like waking and walking around the campground smelling bacon cooking outside and birds singing and people talking in low volume to give the heart something uplifting.

Thomas, that's great news! We have our fingers crossed for you as things seem to be opening up here and there a bit quicker now, and by next week I suspect the pace will pick up substantially - I know you can't wait to get your new BF on the road.... Am also getting a new toy ready for her Maiden Voyage to Chocoura tonight > a new 16' Ranger we picked up from Tom at his shop near Squam Lake on the way up to Lost River & Franconia last October.... Might be a little chilly for paddlin, but nuthin a wool cap & an old Pendleton can't cure.....Dave

Parting thoughts tonite Folks before I start re-shaping a paddle handhold.... > while waxing up the Scamp's plate a few minutes ago, I thought about Gerry working for the next two + weeks at Chocoura to insure a safe and excellent time for us all ( and probably having to eat ibruprofen like M&Ms in the process).....I know for the Dedicated, we will be there for him for the appropriate Accolades..... For those who have cancelled a favorite site - there is still time to retrieve it! We together yet apart will create our own safe environment, and prevail, despite arbitrary mandates....HELLO!

All is well here and we didn't get the 6 / 9 inches of snow predicted. I did take the day off and got my Casita just about ready to head to the campground tomorrow. I know there will be a lot of food items and stuff I will forget to bring but will probably make due.
If I could spend a week in the Maine Woods hiking the AT when I was younger I can probably survive living in the camper for a week without some of the food I will forget to pack.
Coffee and Oat Meal go a long way when it's cold and damp.

CPW - you keep coming back like a "Bad Penny" as we used to say back in the day. I understand this virus has you a bit wound up, but that comment was way beyond the pale - a direct insult to the Folks attending this rally. Gerry is hard at work insuring a safe gathering for us all, and we in turn will do our part with our individual efforts. I wish your troubled soul peace in the near future.....this mess will be behind us in relatively short order. Now leave with sacred hand signs from my Boys atop Washington (100+ mph gusts that day) and get thee back to the Covid forum.....Dave

The virus does not have me wound up in the least. I’m afraid that your tunnel vision has clouded your perception; you know nothing about me whatsoever. To clarify, my comment was totally meant as a joke that anyone would think they could actually cleanse their “internals” with disinfectant, as has been floated by certain political figures. Furthermore, I would never refer to anyone on this forum as a bad penny. I’m afraid that you don’t understand anything, and it could be you that is suffering with a troubled soul, or a frustrated one, as you would like to promote that “this mess will be behind us in relatively short order.” There are some pretty heavy hitters in the medical field who do not share your opinion, with an emphasis on opinion. Sorry if my comments got “under your skin.” But if you are going to participate on a forum such as this, a thick skin is beneficial. And by the way, Gerry may be hard at work but there is no way he can absolutely guarantee a safe gathering, any more than you can insure that things will be back to “normal” in short order. It is wishful thinking, but I will concede, I share the same wish.
