Once you make reservations (or have questions) feel free to post here, the CasitaForum, EscapeForum or the Oregon Gatherings Facebook group... please post just once.

Nehalem Bay State Park rates are $31 for electric & water per day. Make reservations through ReserveAmerica or call ReserveAmerica at 1-800-452-5687 (during regular business hours).

IF you want a Yurt, there's some nice ones in A Loop (two are pet friendly). There's also a kid's play structure in B loop.

I'll try to get the meeting hall reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights. Can't do that until Jan. 2. I'll update the thread on CasitaForum when that's done.

As usual, I'll keep a park map updated and a list of participants going for those that have made reservations on the CasitaForum here: https://www.casitaforum.com/invboard...gon-gathering/

I've chosen site A14.

Be sure to let us know if you're newbies to egg gatherings and everyone start planning/making your name tags.

We'll fill in details about the doin's when we get closer to October.

Ready, Set, GO!

We're now two weeks until Fall NOG. I'll be there! I'm truly looking forward to being at the beach. Hopefully with much cleaner air and I wouldn't mind some moisture either. However, some that are distance traveling may want/need to cancel and that's understandable. According to the Oregon State Park system: "For campers cancelling because of smoke/fire, we are temporarily waiving the first night penalty and refunding all but the $8 reservation fee." I don't know if you need to call ReserveAmerica or if the full refunds also happen if you cancel online.

More info: "Extreme fire danger has prompted a statewide campfire ban at all state parks, including campgrounds, day-use areas and beaches. The ban includes wood, charcoal briquettes, candles, tiki torches and other devices that emit flames or embers. Propane stoves and other cooking devices that have a shutoff valve are allowed for COOKING only." For additional information: https://stateparks.oregon.gov/index....ile&parkId=142.

I'll post again early morning on Wed., Sept. 30 with any late breaking information and a weather forecast. In the meantime, stay safe... stay well.

Campfires allowed?

I saw the earlier post stating a fire ban at Oregon State Parks. This link here states there is still a ban south of Pacific City. Does that mean fires are allowed at Nehalem Bay State Park?

Yes, wood fires in the site fire rings is okay at Nehalem Bay State Park. The park is 50+ miles North of Pacific City.

Nope, because we're not congregating in any site. It will be different, for sure, but still fun!

This is my last post before the Fall NOG. Looks like the weather is going to be great! Cool nights for sleeping, cool in the morning and warm afternoons, light winds too.

Along with your smile, mask, name tag and site sign... don't forget sunscreen!

Safe travels everyone

And no smoke! Nicely planned, Donna.
Hope that Spring NOG is just as nice. See you then.

Nehalem NOG

I hope we can come by and check out a 21’ Escape. If someone is willing, we can make a day trip to the park for a properly social distanced/masked tour.
We asked Escape for an ambassador, but the owners had previously sold their trailer.
Thanks-Pam
looking for a larger trailer
We have a 13’ scamp tow w/a 6 cyl RAV4
