We are doing both also. Have not been to Ky rally before, but will stop at Cumberland Mtn state park Sunday and then looking at Smith Ridge COE for a couple of nights. Cheap with the geezer discount! Lets talk at Hiawasse!

We have stayed at Cumberland Mtn state park as the halfway between Hiawassee before and enjoyed it. If you are a Harvest Host member, there is also the Kentucky Railway Museum just South of Bardstown that allows overnight camping.
