Smile Wed. 19th

I will arrive on the 19th and still “iffy” on backing into a site.. I might “nab” someone who is already there when I see a fiberglass, somehow always manage to find a super nice person to help me!

Tick tick tick

I phoned the park yesterday and asked if there had been any reported tick sightings. The Ranger I spoke with assured me that there have been no reports of any tick activity. That makes me confident that the risk is no higher or lower than any other time we’ve been there.

I'll be in site 30 from the 21st through the 24th. I'm really excited to experience my first fiberglass rally! My terrier sidekick, Poppy, will be there too. I have a 2017 Casita Spirit Deluxe. I'll see if I can change my profile to reflect this.

Do you think it is "Black Cottonwood"? That's what my allergist said I was quite allergic to!

Cottonwood?

Cory,

I have no idea of what type of cottonwood it is at Maryhill. But it seems most years at this time it is blowing around and looks like snow in the air. I live in the woods surrounded by cottonwoods and am very allergic to it too.

R.e. the observatory show, I wasn't able to get into the 2 pm Sat program when I tried this afternoon, but I tried again tonight and got a reservation! So try, try again!

Who else is going to that show and anyone interested in babysitting my 43# 9 year old very sweet dog Hunter who loves kids and sleeps most of the time? Click image for larger version

Looks great Cory!

BTW, you can't PM images. The best you could do is swap email addresses and send them that way, but I'm glad you shared here!

“The Accidental Rally-ists”

Bruce and Kathryn Olive in our Bigfoot are in site 24 for the evening. Heading back to NC after a long trip up Hwy 1, Big Sur, Rainier and Mt St Helens. We arrived, looked at all the FG trailers, and my wife said “must be a rally.” Anyway, if it stops raining we’ll walk around with our ancient pug Oscar and say hello. Nice to see all the fiberglass.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and a lot of new ones

Our next trip to Maryhill is May 20-22 2022

Thank you Paul and Norma for hosting another terrific gathering at Maryhill! We very much enjoyed seeing everyone. Thank you Norma for the super canvas totes, emblazoned with your Maryhill photo. And, thanks to Deb Stillman for the ever popular birthday cake! We already have the 2022 dates circled on the calendar!

Second what everyone said. It was great, always fun, and I love the tote. Sadie liked the squirrels best.

Another great time with all of you!
Are you still producing your Fiber Videos from each yearly meet. Where do I look to see the old video posts?
I met 2 new fiber-couples, that I really enjoyed...I guess I should include Rosie-the Fiber- Hampster❤️
Norma - loved your totes! I guess I wasn’t around when others were discussing. Was it a picture you took and cloth transfer!
Looking forward to next YEARS Potluck!! I think you erred on then the perfect side of being careful, even though we were mostly vaccinated.

Smile Maryhill - Taidnapam

After your fun at Maryhill, come on over to Tainapam. We had about 13 open spots this year, as well as great fun.
