We just returned from our camp in Canada a few hours ago. The crossing into Canada was a bit longer than usual, most likely due to checking the extra papers. Make sure you have you vac card and covid test results and bring your arrivecan receipt (the border people liked that). Returning to the US was the same as pre covid, however they were stopping vehicles when my son returned and he watched them turn around a vehicle with Ontario licence plates, but he was motioned on thru. We came across the Thousand Island crossing.

POTLUCK POSTPONED!!!

Hi: All...This year we will again pass on a shared potluck.
We will have our outdoor campfires at site 52 and a Friday nite Wine and Beer exchange.
Trailer tours are at the discretion of the owners at anytime during the rally.
Betty's restaurant will still be open for small groups but not for a "Sunday Brunch".
We will "Camp together separately" and enjoy each others company at a social distance. Please use a mask and hand sanitizer and elbow bumps are welcome!!!
Drop by site 52 to register and pickout a door prize.

I may have to cancel again. I can't figure out how to get a COVID test and have the results available at the border within 72 hrs.
Feeling very frustrated.

We have Wellnow branches around the central New York area that provide 24 hour test results. You could travel to this area, get your covid test, camp for a night, get your results the next day, fill out your Arrivecan form and move on. We used them when we went to Canada a couple weeks ago. We also got a 24 hour result from our local CVS pharmacy.

Carl. That seems to be my solution. Thank you. I'm not at all certain I would have found them on my own.
Hope to see you there.

Kevin and I got our Covid tests back (Negative) here at Algonac and will be at the bridge tomorrow for a 9 AM appointment to cross. We are staying the first night near Hamilton and will be there the next day. First time at the rally for us. I retired officially the end of August, so we can finally make it.

Do you think Betty give me a discount for my recommendation all those years ago, Alf?

Walt, we won't be there, but we will be in Canada, at our camp near the thousand islands.

Hi Alf:

It looks like we will have to miss this year again. Between Covid-19 and how insanely busy we are with the family, we just can't do it. Fingers crossed for next year though!

We made it across the border. There was no line and took about 3 minutes. Kevin had every paper that we needed in a notebook, and we both had our Covid results ready on our phones. Be there tomorrow. He did not even ask to see our cats' vaccination records.

Hi: CindyL... Thanks for coming over!!! It's all over but the crying. We had a good time inspite of the limitations. We'll do it again in Sept 16-18th 2022. Here's some pics from the park.

Is this the future?

Hi: All... Here's a pic of a camper moving out to make room for us!!! The trailer made more noise than the tug.

Hope to see you all next year.

Hi Alf and MaryAnne!!

Your rally photos look like everyone enjoyed themselves, despite the smaller numbers and restrictions.

With any luck, and with fingers crossed, we'll be able to join in the fun next year.
Last year was supposed to be the year....then this year....but as we all know, best laid plans..etc. etc....

Haven't been to the Falls for a few years, and with us having lived in Hamilton for a number of years, it's our old stompin' grounds.

Looking forward to next fall!!!
Take care.
