We are looking forward to returning to Hungry Mother again this year. Hopefully the weather will be drier than last year. We will be at #18 with our Escape 17b.

Something has come up, so we will not be able to make it to the rally. We will miss attending the rally and hope to attend next year.


We canceled our reservation for site 30 S Burson arriving 10/27 (Thursday) and departing 10/30 (Sunday) for three nights, in case someone is looking for a campsite.

I’m getting an Escape FB trailer in October and was wondering if this would be a fun trip to get started with but realized from older posts it’s been booked solid for several months! Just goes to show how much demand there is for these kinds of events on the east coast. Hope it’s a good time- looking forward to seeing some pictures and videos

One thing about these rallies is that people book as much as a year in advance, and sometimes life throws a curve ball just before the event, and they have to cancel close to the event date. We hope to be there but it's still iffy due to unexpected cancer and spine surgery since we booked last year.

Hello. I have a 1987 Cadet, and I am thinking about attending the event for a couple days. I still need to check for any openings, but I did submit a request to join the Facebook group. I will be camping every other weekend in October, so I'm not sure if I'll be wore out when this one arrives. 😊

I just checked through all 36 posts and realize almost none of them say they have a reservation or on which site. So as of now I have no idea of what our attendance will be.
I should probably try to do as Pam has done for the Algonac rally, namely ask people to post that information and try to make up a map and list to post.
Along about this time I start to worry whether I'll have enough to feed everyone at our dinner.

I mentioned life throwing curve balls, and we caught one. Two days after my last post my wife ended up in the ER and spent almost 3 weeks in the hospital, so we will not make it to this year's rally. ��
I'm going to set my calendar to cancel my site (site 45 Oct 24-31) at about 7 PM EST tomorrow night Oct3, hoping someone from the group can grab it.

Hi Walt,
Kirk and I met you and the group back in 2019. We came and learned about everyone’s rigs. Shortly after that visit we purchased a used/salvaged 2018 Casita Spirit Deluxe in Kansas City, MO! We had to cancel last year’s rally but we are booked for Burson Site 23 for this year, arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving Sunday. We are looking forward to seeing you and everyone who so kindly shared their information with us! Kirk and Eva Baker
