We just made our reservations for our annual gathering at Maryhill State Park the weekend before Memorial Day 2024 (May 17-19).

This will be the 15th year we've visited this area on this weekend - we've had small 'Not Organized' gatherings and a lot of fun exploring the area.
This get together isn’t limited to fiberglass rv’s – we’ve had participants in every type of rv in past years…

I think I just snagged the last available space at Maryhill for that weekend. Spot 24. Shortly after the 9 month window opened our life went all topsy tury, and I did not think about the rally until recently when my sister asked about our summer plans. Suffice it to say we are living in a new house not far away from our old house and in the process of trying to sell our old house. This is not a bad thing, and was, indeed, part of the long term plan. But moving and prepping a house for sale kept the thoughts of camping trips out of my head.

Hello - stumbled on this rally a couple of months ago and of course, it was full. I got notified today of an opening so I snagged it. Site 35 Fri 17 - Sun 20th. Just me so far but might bring my bestie if she's available. Joined the egg community last year and attended the Fall NOG get-together. 2009 Casita LD from the Gresham area.

We bought it three years ago from a great couple in North Bend. We are third owners. Which was nice since it had all the bugs worked out and some mods. Heading to the NOG in a few days.
Looking foreword to this Rally as it will be the start of 3-4 weeks of camping and fishing.

No-host dinner-on-a-stick roasting fire going at site 50 by 5:00pm.
This is not a potluck, bring your lawn chair and everything you need and plan to eat, including your own roasting stick.
We’ll have chips, condiments & a good cooking fire going in our Maryhill Firepit.

Saturday
No potluck again this year.
Please join us at site 50 after dinner and we will have our usual Birthday celebration with cake provided by the birthday boy Chuck S and Deb (we’ll bring the ice cream).

We were there a few years ago, and it was great fun. Met old friends and made new ones from far and wide.
One day, we went over to Goldendale, and visited the observatory, and solar observatory. Then we went back for the evening and stayed until about midnight.

Saw a lot, and learned a lot!

FYI, they tend to lock the entry gate to Maryhill later at night, but the Goldendale astronomer told us the trick: to the right of the gate is another one nearby, that staff uses, and that's your way in.
