Hi all! I'm announcing the fall rally early so hopefully everyone gets in. Roy messaged me a couple of weeks ago about the location and we have decided to go to Harmonie State Park. Rally will be October 11-13, 2024. You may make reservations 6 months ahead of the date you plan to arrive. Sites 167 through 200 look the best for our group. See you there!!

Well at least this one's not where I have to be somewhere else. Somehow or other I've never been able to acquire the technology to be in two places at once

Hi Karen and all, I just tried to book Harmonie starting on October 8th. Only three sites available for the weekend of the rally, even starting that early! I'm going to call the park tomorrow and see if there's something going on. I also looked at Spring Mill since that was the prior plan for the fall rally. There were already some reservations beginning on the 8th (That's the day I want to come in) But still plenty available.

I’m finding the same thing as of this morning. I first thought it was because perhaps they don’t open the 6 month reservations until a later time (like noon). But that doesn’t explain the 3 sites that are available. Strange.

Still no luck getting a site reservation. Sites aren’t marked just unavailable, they are marked R for reserved for the dates around the rally. My guess is there is a glitch in the reservation system, but who knows? I haven’t tried calling anyone there yet.

Yep, it looks like the whole campground is reserved, some of the spots until 18/19 October. Isn't this the time that Indiana schools close? Has anyone been able to get a spot?

EDIT: I went down the whole list to see what might be available. Many spots just the weekend but quite a few go longer.

It's Thursday, and I just checked Harmonie and everything in the park is totally filled up The weekend of our rally. So I called the office there and spoke to Janet, the office manager. She says it's because the next week is their big Halloween extravaganza and people book two weeks ahead of that in order to get a site for the 18th through the 20th. There's nothing she could do about it. She said in the future if we wanted to reserve a whole loop more than 6 months ahead, sometime other than their Halloween festival or their craft festival in the spring, they could reserve that for us at the park and not have to go through reserve America. But there's nothing she can do for us next October.
Are we back to spring Mill. It still has availability but some of the loops that I know we would enjoy are starting to fill up.

Hello. We just tried to reserve as well and saw Harmonie full. Will keep watching the forum in case there are updates or changes to another park.

Spring Mill it is. Book sites 1 thru 48. That's a nice spot for the rally.

We reserved site #20 for October 10-14 at Spring Mill State Park. This will be our first visit to this campground.

Because we are such rebels, we’ve booked just outside the designated loop on site 55! Oct. 8 - 14.

I just booked site 29 coming in Tuesday the 8th. In addition to 1 - 48 being in the loop that Karen chose, 49 through 61 are right next door. Note that the prior weekend is completely booked so reserve soon!
