Which Lisa? Me or the one I think I saw on the site from your area? I'm thinking it's a little too far for me unless I was to take Friday off. It's tempting...

I stopped by there yesterday afternoon, as I was in the area. At 12:30pm the place was 1/3 full, and it looked like most of those was a big family reunion taking place in a group of doubles and directly across. None of them were in the best spots.. weird.

There was also a new host ... again .... they have trouble keeping them. I don't wanna know... Murphy Brown syndrome? anyway...These ones tell me there is a wedding happening in the upper loop on the 20th. It's just the ceremony, not a camping group.. so.. we will probably not be allowed up there.

The fisherman were out along the river, so I am guessing it is "Fishable" now.

I'm picking it up next weekend..just sold my Wennibago waiting for the cash. I've been working (and helping my dad when I was a kid ) build campers and motorhomes and boats. Mechanic/plumber and general jack of all trades. I should have this 1 ready by the weekend of meet (it just needs tires and a good cleaning) add me and if there are any changes I'll contact you. There is also a nice campground just before Apple White called Bonita Ranch...usually clean and empy if there is any over flow.

Hey James, you are on the list. And CONGRATS on your new acquisition. We will look forward to seeing it. Fred has one and can give you lots of info about it.

Bonita Ranch is where I was going to send the overflow, and thats where the dump station is.

We did a small rally there once, around the slab. I also just did a week there in the full hook up section due to snow logistics up here.

Hi, all! Looks like we'll be joining the fun, and we think that Saturday pot-luck is a super idea! We'll scare up something, even if it's extra paper plates and chips and killer salsa from my nephew. Thanx, Gina, for putting this weekend together. See you soon - L 'n D

Leslie and Dave cool!

Neat about the upper loop. Are there any pull thru sites for us chickens? I think I can handle the going forward part but the backing up is, well.....a new thing. I always have Eric do it. What a cop out huh?

Yes, there are two pull thrus. I am taking one since I have the biggest rig, but I am sure we can squeeze you in, it's a double. (I think) I have to go out and speak with the FS manager this weekend, I will probably just drag the trailer and stay the weekend and do some pics. The "Big" pull thru also has the largest campsite, so it can be the gathering area.

And Liz, I think you can handle backing.. practice makes perfect!

The wedding reception has first bids on the area they want to use, but they will not be spending the nite and will not show up until after 6pm on Saturday. We will have already been there for awhile. It is my understanding it is just an overflow from the reception across the way. The wedding will be in the day use area, as well as the main "Big Party". The day use area closes at 6 pm. I need to find out whats up, but there is an area that will suit everyones needs the best (I think) and will make that suggestion to the manager. I don't have the final word tho.

He also has graciously offered to have the bathrooms open for us, but he is not sure about the water. If the water is not turned on (The spigots.. bathroom water will obviously work) in the loop, we can fill our tanks as we come in.

D&L, if you are showing up much earlier, you may have to stay down below and then move up on Thursday. The loop is NOT maintained or monitored until May. They are doing us this favor as it works out best for everyone involved, rather than us taking over the lower loop.

So, those on the fence about coming, you know now that you have a guaranteed spot!

Hey, thank you, Gina, for the info about upper vs lower loop. We'll plan accordingly. Whoo-hoo, that weekend will be here before you know it! Regards, L 'n D

11, short back in, and 9, short back in with an overhanging tree. A 13 with no RT air would be OK
