The 2011 Spring Eggscursion is scheduled for April 14 -17 at the LazyDaze Campground, in Townsend, TN

When you call for reservations, mention that you are camping with the Egg Camping Club.

Yes they do. My deposit for 2011 shows a 10% discount. Plus, we get featured on local tv!

It was nice weather in Georgia yesterday -- a high of 67. It made me start day dreaming of camping again, and think about the upcoming Egg Club outings.

We had the cold weather the previous weekend... snow, wind, cold, frozen roads. Made me dream of camping (NOT)!

Rather than DREAM of camping that icy Atlanta week, a few of us from the Atlanta area drove down to FL to camp and kayak; those that could get their campers out of their ice covered driveways!

It had dropped to 24 in the state park the morning that we arrived but the weekend was great.
Now for Scamp Camp in FL next week!

Spoke with Lazy Daze campground today and went over our schedule with them. They are looking forward to another fun year with the Egg Campers.

I am so ready to go camping. We usually get to make a trip in March but have been busy this year and not made it. This will be our first trip of the year it looks like.

You may be the first compact jr at the Eggscursion. You CAN expect to have a lot of gawkers who want to see inside! We're from Cartersville too. See you there.
