We might be interested. We like to take off for southern climes in the fall though. We're in Utah at the moment but will be back home late Oct. One thing to consider for fall gatherings in the PNW is that it would be nice to have at least elec./water hook-ups and a place to meet for potlucks, etc indoors. Rasar State Park, along the Skagit River, has a couple of nice group campgrounds with huge sites. They might let people double up.

I don't think Rasar will let people double up (it is a state park) but there are a LOT of sites there. The trouble is, it has to be reserved and paid for by one person. They are great group sites and have a covered area the group can use. The two that have hookups have ten sites each and to reserve for three weeknights in the fall is about $1000. So about $35 a night per trailer, which is typical of state parks, but again, one person has to reserve and collect money. The only way I can see that working well would be to send in checks ahead of time and if we got enough, reserve.

Exclamation Our First WAG get together

Okay. We just made reservations at Elma RV Park!

Elma RV Park

Call and identify yourself as being with the WAGs.

Dates: Arriving on November 10, departing Nov 14.

They have a nice clubhouse so weather shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry it is so late, but between birthdays and bad backs...

Roger

Late in year = cold

I would CERTAINLY like to go to Elma, since it's just a hop, skip & a jump from here!

I bet my camping buddy Karen would, too, as I've heard her state a preference for close sites.

However, my Compact Jr. is very much like a Campster, and someone tore the insulation out of it before I got it. And I have that blue-fingers/toes disease. Dry cold I can deal with, but somehow wet sort of cold is worse. So please always pick sunny relatively warm days!

I'd go somewhere but prefer state park campgrounds to RV parks. I like having trails for walking the dogs. And as Cory says- nicer weather. There's not enough inside space in our trailers to want to be out a long time in cold weather.

I agree with Bobbie's comment.
State Parks, trails for dog walking, and nice weather to be outside in.

How many of us can do weekdays? We might still be able to find a date in May or June.

Smile May June

In May there is Maryhill.

In June there is Taidnapam.

How about July? I will research. But this weekend is LL Stubs in Oregon.

I can attend weekdays. How about thinking about moving East a bit. Maybe just on the East side of the Cascades someplace. I'd bet that you'd get all of the W. WA folks plus some E. Wa and Northern ID folks.

Western WA egg NOG!

We're on the Olympic Peninsula-would love to get together locally (within a 3-4 hour drive or so). We're retired and available most of the time after the Taidnapam rally and the end of September. We're new to the area but would be happy to help with arrangements.

There are some pretty fabulous state, county, and private parks on the Peninsula, and I'm sure there are lots on the eastern and southern sides of Puget Sound that would be great, too.

Unhappy East of Cascades

This is a bad year because of the fire danger on the dry side...
