Alberta Omelette Spring Kick-Off is from May 30th to June 2nd at
Diamond Buffalo Guest Ranch, which is located just off Highway 27/584, only 17 kilometres west of Sundre, AB on Range Road 71.

This is a small, private campground with limited power spots. (please bring extension cords)
... You need to call Rick (the owner) to register 403-638-2234 The owner will not accept email registrations, you must call him.
Please register as soon as possible.
This ranch has a beautiful, private lake that is stocked, so bring your pole or feel free to drop your canoe or kayak in the pristine lake and paddle around...sorry, no motors allowed. If you don't have a water craft, there are some available for rent.
There is a restaurant/bar on site if you don't feel like cooking.
There are indoor and outdoor washroom facilities as well as showers available at a cost of $3.
There are rooms, cabins and tent sites available for those just wishing to come out and join us. (call Rick for details)
Our proposed itinerary this year is:
For those arriving Thursday night, the special in the bar is "35 cent wings".
For those arriving Friday night, the special in the bar is "Pasta Friday"
The owner of the facility is willing to offer a buffet breakfast on Saturday morning between 8:30 and 10:30 at a cost of $15 per person, if there is enough interest. (You need to tell Rick when you register if you are interested)
After breakfast, around noon, we will have the show and tell so you can check out other peoples trailers to get new ideas.
Saturday evening will be the potluck dinner and group fire afterwards. (bring wood to contribute to the cause) Wood is available for purchase.
As usual, musical instruments and talent are always welcome, as Craig and I have none.
The owner has asked that we abide by only two rules:
Dogs must be on leash at all times.
Alcohol is permitted, but since they are a private facility with their own liquor
license, alcohol must be in travel mugs when walking around or when attending the potluck dinner.
Diamond Buffalo is in a very peaceful, picturesque setting. You can choose to sit by the lake, paddle on the lake, or take a walk, but for those of you that want something else to do, there are quite a few things that the Sundre area offers.
