Any SE Rallies planned?

I don't see anything planned for the rest of the year in the SE.
Can this be true?

The rally in Cherokee NC last year is what introduded us to FGRVs, and convienced us to start camping again. Was looking forward to going up, with our Casita this time.

Oh well!

If you look further down this same page (Rallies, get togethers, etc.) you will see a thread starting with Fall Rally in Cherokee, NC. There is another one called Florida Campouts. There have been some postings on the casitaclub.com forum about gatherings in Dec. in FL and over New Years in FL, too. Just check around, you'll find them.

Thanks Jean, found it! Are you attending this year?

The Georgia/Tennesee club used to have a sub-forum here on FGRV where we posted our upcoming adventures, but it appears to have gone missing.
Check this link for some of our upcoming trips.

The Georgia Tennessee group will be camping at Defeated Creek, TN. Here's the info:

Defeated Creek, TN - Sept. 9-11, 2011
Reservations for this trip can be made starting March 9
Reserve sites 5 - 24 first

This is not a rally, but a weekend get together.

CP - The Defeated Creek trip is separate from the Cherokee, NC trip. The campers here in GA/TN don't really put on a "rally", but more like get together often for weekend camping... where the schedule is less structured, but everyone has a lot of fun hanging out. Evenings can be singing & playing music around a campfire, day events can be anything from someone fishing to another group hiking, others taking a short day trip, and some other bunch wanting to check out the shopping.
I guess the difference in this and a rally, - there is no planned schedule, but everyone seems to find something to do with someone else, even if it means we are all gathered around my camper fixing a leaking faucet (which has happened).

Where, which campground, in Cherokee? Is this the October 13-16 gathering?
