Nope, just show up and join the fun. We look forward to seeing you there. 1985 camper! We may already have a winner for oldest camper :-)

We have posted an agenda on our club site (Egg Camping Club) so we can make changes as needed. We have about 45 campers registered so far.

Hi All,

Guess I need to update my profile. We now have a 1995 16' Casita that we will be bringing. Although we still have the '85 Perris Pacer, the kids use it occassionally. See everyone in April in Tennessee.

Make sure you mention you are with the Egg Camping Club so that you will be located in section A of the campground and receive a 20% discount.

This is a fantastic campground at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
My husband and I are looking forward to eventually owning a fiberglass trailer but still trying to decide which one. How nice of you all to schedule this when we already planned to be in Gatlinburg (condo, not camping)! Actually, you chose the best time to be in the Smokies when the dogwood and redbud trees are in bloom--absolutely gorgeous! Would it be a problem for us to stop by so we can consult with you all about the pros and cons of different trailers? Looks like you are going to have a fabulous turnout!

Come on by. Saturday from 10:30-1:00 we will be showing off each others campers but stop by whenever you can and I'm sure everyone will be glad to show you or answer any questions you have. Looks like we will have 50 plus campers there.

Thanks! I'm really excited about coming to this event because there will be so many trailers we don't get to see in Ohio.

My wife and I have reserved a site in B on the river. Looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends. This will be our first trip with our 2011, 13' Scamp, have had older Scamps in the past few years. We will be coming from Duluth, MN and traveling with Charlie, our Old English Sheepdog. Lee

Lee, I hope we can follow you down. Have wanted to attend this every year but have always had road, weather, illness issues. Maybe this year will be a charm.

With our poor history of not getting there we will not make a reservation again. Maybe if we committed ourselves floods, roads, weather and health would fall into place.

Your new Scamp and our old would be a good comparison for people to see the difference (height, frame) between then and now.

We are going to keep a close watch on gas prices. Looks like it is going to be a big gathering. We have friends in Knoxville. Keep our fingers crossed.

This is the first Egg gathering for me, I am planning on calling tomorrow to make reservations. And the distillery tour sounds like great fun!

We hope to make it, but too many irons in the fire to allow a commitment. I hope the size of the CG will permit a last minute decision. Tony and Darlene

Some cg may allow doubling up once full, depends on what your trailer's needs are and the policy of the cg.

The campground has 115 sites so last minute reservations should not be a problem. We have 55 reserved so far.

My wife, Susan, and I have been searching for an egg camper....weighing pro's and con's of different types of units. For example....do we need a bathroom if it means we can tow a 13' with our current vehicle, etc. I'd love to stop by and look around. We're in SC, so it's not that far. Do I understand from previous post that you guys have an "open house" late morning/early afternoon Saturday? Thought I may be able to nail down our decision, seeing some real units. Not many of them down here in eastern SC, at least that I've seen!

Hi: GerthT... "Seing is believing". The best way to look at a variety of fiberglass trailers is to come to a rally. You'd be most welcome Sat. am. to tour them all.
