CA | Aqua Caliente Hot Springs

Hi all!
April is quickly approaching and Im thinking of an annual rally at the hot springs. These are located in northern San Diego county and is a county park.
Mostly the group gathers during the first week of April and stays a few days.
Anyone interested?
Im planning on arriving on 4-5 and leave on 4-8

The idea of hot springs sounds appealing. It's -4 with -12 wind chill in Minneapolis this morning.

Will be there last weekend in March coming from San Diego. Anyone come down the Banner grade with their egg? We have a 17' Casita towed with a v8 4wd 4Runner and are new owners without a lot of towing experience other than wave runners and bikes.

I sure wish I could make this. I mlssed Quartzite and need a desert fix . Maybe next year.

Our 4Runner 4th gen has no problems. Drop it to 3rd gear. The northern route 79- S2 north at Dudleys (Scripps Poway Parkway from I-15) is preferred and same time/distance. I-8 to Ocotillo -Aqua Caliente would be fast/easy/safe.

Great.... We live in Penasquitos near Poway Rd exit, will probably take the northern route anyway. Appreciate the info .
